From being anxious waiting for a new episode to drop to not feeling like watching the newest episode. If you watched a couple of dozens romantic dramas that's how you're gonna few after ep 08 of Dinner Mate. The female lead deserves a spot in heaven for being carrying this show. Jesus.

That because you probably haven't seen a lot of the tropes they using in the second half. Anyone with a a few years of watching the same plot over and over would be fed up with the second half.

First half is great, second half is trash.

They're not wrong. The first half is amazing but then it goes downhill.

Just read the plot and it's amazing. Sadly, the chance of the writer screwing it up is really high.

This is how it usually goes but I don't think that's the case for all of them. At least it's not what I hope. Eun Hee and Chan Huyk have been misunderstanding which other for so long that I don't think they deserve to be together.

Oh, the same knetz who said GH and IW were endgame while the show was still on air? Being "Against Bullying" is one thing, being delusional is a completely different thing. Just so I don't hurt your feelings.... you know this show is staged, right? If they're together or not that's their problem. Just like I can't assume anything based on what was shown, you can't assume anything because "knetz" said they said X or Y were having dinner LMAO.

I would understand if they got together in the show even if it was just to save face (like that couple from last season), but after the show ended? One thing is certain, I'm never rooting for the 'good guy' ever again.

Yeah, that's for sure. She was definitely the main focus of this season like the chief from the last year's. I just didn't like what they did to GH. They threw her storyline away, and the fact that there's still "hope" for her and IW after the shooting of this season makes me even mad. There's no indication that they had enough chemistry to become a couple but in the end they hint their relationship as "it's not over yet". I hope that for a next season the editing decisions are not as aggressive. The second catfish clearly has an enormous disadvantage and it shows. An-na even got hate on social media when she barely had any time to meet other members personally. The ratings kinda went down after the second half (in Korea at least, don't know about Viki) so I hope they pay attention to that.

I honestly can't see the second one lasting for too long. Got the same vibes as the lawyer and the actress from season one.

I mean, there will be at least 3 of them (or none if she ends up alone)

Han Ye Ri is stealing the show.

I'm not talking about that. The fact the she even let that guy get away with so many things after they met again is already in conflict with the kind of personality the drama showed is in the beginning. The same thing happened in One Spring Night. The female lead was all confident but couldn't put an end to the ex's harassment like she said she would. Inconsistent from the writers/directors. I would let things like these go when I first started watching kdramas but now I think it's just lazy writing.

Yes. Not over your face as the main theme is family but it's definitely there.

The first and second half almost feel like different dramas. This is the third time that happened to me when watching a MBC drama. The personality of the FL almost disappeared.

Yeah, I'm not buying the "we were friends for 9 years but kept missing each other". This drama tries to be way too realistic for someone to date another person for 9 years and they actually loved his best friend. I would understand this crush they had for each other if the drama had make them go through stuff while they were reconnecting, but I didn't think that would happen as fast as episode 2.
