Those yxhs manuscripts did switch narratives spreading that this is a big IP when in reality it's the opposite. Yeah, they will always find ways to hate him because they are that irrational. After he was confirmed last March, I revised the synopsis here in mdl with the references stated above and in my eyes at least in the sentence composition now it's not that screaming generic and boring to me lol idk about others though. Yeah his character setting is a bit errr but I think the screenwriters will downplay it making it a facade only. The IP is unknown. I remember how those yxhs drafts and haters mocked him for this saying this is a B level. Many ckiwis and myself included were shocked in the official announcement last March because he initially rejected this and chose "逍遙" but the team waited for him for half a year. Fast forward to June, when the whole team was announced, I felt like I was on cloud nine lol. I was very satisfied with the team behind.
