Day and Night 2 is coming soon and it's the sequel to a beloved show so it has a good chance of becoming Youku's 2024 champion (or if Yang Yang's Immortal Ascension drops in December.) Nothing will probably beat The Double as biggest surprise hit though.

Yu Zheng also said before that he approves all the marketing materials of his artists and he never really fired anyone so he was probably lying as usual.
Anyway, none of her fans have actually read the script and all of the unfounded rumors is just because YZ mentioned there's more romance in it than people assumed. That doesn't immediately mean that WXY is stealing screentime and plot importance from BL. If it turns out YZ is exaggerating just to rile up the fans on both sides then all of this fighting would have been based on nothing.

it's currently at 6.6 which is not high but not too bad for an idol drama (to compare Fangs of Fortune, Kill Me Love Me and The Rise of Ning all opened below 6.) Douban likes their slice of life dramas so this year the highest rated shows are She and Her Girls at 9.5 and City of Sunlight at 9.0 which both aired recently. currently airing ones like Romance in the Alley, Love Game in Eastern Fantasy and Story of Pearl Girl are getting good feedback but don't have scores yet.
