And don’t forget them behaving as if they’re victim of some tragedy, lol. They have feelings for the FL since time memorial and choose to stay mum regarding it, until the ML decides to pursue. Then they suddenly muster up the courage and keep putting their nose wherever there is FL.

Secondary couples are kind of going out of fashion, and these days it’s more about a one-sided, infatuated SML, so it’s not surprising to see that here too.

Honestly, the main couple already has enough misunderstandings and problems; they really don’t need another one in the form of an SML.

Was there any breakup in the novel after they got together?

Till episode 9, I’m absolutely loving it. The battle scenes are chef’s kiss, and the main leads are kind of unhinged with each other, in a good way.

I was wondering if Duan Xu will have anything to do with the Spirit Realm later on, or if he’ll just stay in the earthly realm throughout. I’m guessing the focus might shift to the Spirit Realm for the Simu arc.

I think them not ending up together would be the real happy ending, otherwise it’ll be a sad ending.

I guess this lawyer–client arrangement is going to keep going until a confession happens, though I don’t see that happening anytime soon. I hope I’m wrong though.🤞

I hope they don’t go on with this for more than half of the show and then get together near the end. Like they haven’t even accepted that they knew each other in the school. They better confess already. It’s irritating for us omniscient viewers to see them being like this when we know they both like each other.
I have this feeling that the celebrity guy will be an irritating impediment.

I really don’t think he knows she still likes him. If anything, he probably just thinks she used to like him in high school, and that’s it. It can’t be inferred that she necessarily likes him even now. The way she acted when they met again didn’t help either, she straight up said she doesn’t know him, so of course he’d assume she’s moved on or doesn’t even remember him properly. And then she goes on about the webnovel ML being like Domyoji Tsukasa from Boys Over Flowers, not Hanazawa Rui, which was her old type. So when he saw her with that celebrity guy, he wondered, “Has she found her Hanazawa Rui?”

Looking at the relationship chart that was uploaded, the celebrity guy has a one-sided crush on the FL since time immemorial. In the novel, he knew he got no chance, but I guess they’ll change it here and making him meddle into the relationship, I guess.

So there won’t be the irritating third person trying to meddle with the leads with his one-sides affection? That’s what I hate the most. The relationship chart showed them as “love rival” and “enemy” so I thought he would be the irritating third wheel who’ll stay in the middle until they make it official.

Is there any romance line between the leads? I didn’t see a ‘romance’ tag.

There isn’t any love triangle? I thought there was one after seeing the relationship chart.

Could you tell me what kind of vibe this drama has? Is it more of a rom-com, a melodrama, or something else? I’m looking for something light to relax and enjoy for the fluff and good feelings.

How are the leads’ personalities, both individually and in how they interact with each other within the relationship, if you don’t mind me asking?

They do this with most C-dramas these days. I guess it’s that “starve the audience to make it taste better” idea.

I’m eagerly waiting for this one! I sincerely hope they don’t dwell too much on the love triangle.
