I personally feel he has a good mix of good guy, complex character, and villain roles in his filmography. He was good in Love & Leashes, May I Help You, Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale (a bit of an a-hole but still), and will be one in the upcoming Pump Up The Healthy Love. Complex in Melo Movie, When Life Gives You Tangerines. Villain in The Impossible Heir, Brave Citizen, Mask Girl, Weak Hero Class 2. I actually think it's great he gets to keep playing villains while maintaining the eligibility for good roles, if he only played good characters now it wouldn't be good for diversity either.

Finally a good makjang thriller drama with less screaming more scheming. Those ahjummas and ahjusshis used to give me headaches but this is over the top and fun while being tolerable. I love that Dongjoo is so smart not in the romance department of course but he can sense what's up and find things out quick. Prosecutor husband is so dumb and sh-t outta luck it's kinda funny. Hoping for Seonwoo's story to start this weekend, that one's going to be a madman. I find Cha Gukhee funny, she's so extra!

Lord knows when they will start the Seonwoo arc, probably around episode 8 or 9. That leaves around 7-8 episodes for his maniac arc, hope they don't rush it and kill him off early to solve things.

This is my I think 7th? Park Hyungsik drama and I've never been THIS impressed with his acting. He's a rockstar in this!
