He’s so lovely! I’ve been enjoying his recent roles and his adorable MC dances in Music Bank. My favourite role of his was in The Art Of Sarah, and I loved him as Shin Soonrok in Yumi’s Cells 3 too. His performance in You And Everything Else was short but beautiful. He’s very handsome, bubbly, and chatty haha. Looks gorgeous in ads and photoshoots. I’m looking forward to his future projects and ventures!

Shin Yuna’s character to have a straightforward romance towards Cha Woomin’s character.

“Yoon Choi, played by Shin Yuna in 'My Favorite Employee,' is a rising actress with outstanding visuals and popularity. Having risen to the status of a top-tier star receiving public adoration immediately upon her debut, she is Nam Dareum's (Kim Hyejun) favorite and has worked alongside actor Lee Chan (Cha Woomin) in a romance project.

Having opened her heart to Lee Chan's thoughtful consideration while filming together, Yoon Choi resolves to go beyond being acting partners and become his real-life lover. Stepping forward to win Lee Chan's heart with uninhibited straightforwardness, she acts as a new variable in the love triangle within 'My Favorite Employee’.”

This conflicts with previously released information that her love triangle will be with Kang Hoon.

I hope we get a second couple (Woomin-Yuna) instead of the love triangles going on too long. No unnecessary drama, just cuteness from two couples!

As much as I love villain and support roles, that’s a bit of a selfish and uninformed take.Starring in romcoms…
So you don’t want your faves to live well and prosper? A lot of actors go straight up broke from not getting major roles.

Woomin isn’t sacrificing art either. He chose a villain role in Solo Levelling.

As much as I love villain and support roles, that’s a bit of a selfish and uninformed take.

Starring in romcoms on big networks pays more and boosts popularity. Just an example - a villain in a drama airing on a web platform may earn amount X while an SML in a tvN romcom may earn 20X or 30X. I know villain roles are glamorous, but they don’t pay as much. Man’s gotta eat and travel, enjoy life.

SML roles also often lead to ML roles, which pay significantly higher actor’s fees and boosts visibility + increase opportunities.

I have a question for people who watch Western shows. Does the love triangle also appear there as much as in kdramas?…
Western shows - yes. Riverdale, Cobra Kai, Gossip Girl, The Summer I Turned Pretty, XO Kitty, famously the Twilight movies lol, Kissing Booth, Emily In Paris, Never Have I Ever, etc etc. Love triangles encourage conversations especially involving picking sides, and increase engagement for romcoms. It’s also a tactic to get more people to get curious or want to belong to a side too and start watching.

isn’t she the ex of lee chan? and the love triangle is betwen her the fl and lee chan?
There were dating rumours between her and Lee Chan in the webtoon.

In the script reading for the drama and in the news article I linked, it was revealed Yuna’s character’s love line is with Kang Hoon.

Update: A new article states Yuna’s love interest is Cha Woomin, not Kang Hoon.

Alternate Ending (just my reimagining or what I thought would’ve been more interesting):

All the things in Kim household really did happen, Lee Gang was invited in and the voyeurism was real. Professor Heo egged Lee Gang on to make bolder moves and mess the family up. In the end, we find out it was all for a book Lee Gang was writing on Professor Heo’s life and his infiltration into his life and home; about his failed marriage, failed career, jealousy, and his using of Lee Gang to ruin Kim family’s life (which Lee Gang didn’t completely follow through with, or was exaggerating to him). So instead of Lee Gang plotting to enter Kim family’s home, the starting manipulation tactic would’ve been to hook Professor Heo with his stories and enter his home to conduct his voyeurism on him. The Kim family stories would be within the book about Professor Heo, but the focus would be on Professor Heo’s failings, boredom, and desire to upend writer Kim Suhun and his family without implicating himself much.

the professor was lowkey useless, they couldve swapped his parts for something more mysterious and less boring.…
That’s the irony of it, he said the orphan kid Lee Gang was “boring and not worth writing about”, but his own life was dull as hell too, he was a loser and coveted the life writer Kim Suhun had. Which is why Lee Gang asked him through the final assignment, “Is your life interesting enough to write about?”.

Title Notes from the Last Row Spoiler
That’s what I wanted to know. Did the whole Lee gang’s infiltration into the household really happen? I have…
He didn’t, but I meant in Lee Gang’s fictional work I wanted the character to be bolder and more invasive. The wardrobe scene was good 👌🏼 but the rest was a bit uninspired, mostly eavesdropping and watching, not actually ruining lives like in the play.

Fun, but could’ve been darker and more psychological. They focused too much on the “crime” part rather than Lee Gang’s infiltration into and manipulation of the household, which is what I was mainly interested to see. Professor Heo getting hooked by Lee Gang’s makjang a$$ plot is the most boomer thing ever, old people love their soap operas lol. The ladies were fire in this; Han Jieun in particular was really captivating in this role. The motive was a bit ehh. Overall, not a bad watch if you want to binge something fun, fast-paced, and entertaining.
