Straight people can see the sparks between the two main leads. It is okay if you don't see it. The second and the third villain are better than the first villain acting wise. They are better actors. Huang Jue is a good actor but the actors who played Eunuch Cao and Zhao Bing Wen are better actors. The Director and Casting Director did a great job in hiring a group of great actors to work in this drama.

As soon as ZH father came back from Dongxia, he gave the Gui Seal to the Emperor and rush back home. He asked his wife, kids and helpers to start packing. ZH father is planning to take the family to Dongxia. He knows it is not safe to stay in their home country anymore. His enemies are too powerful. He can not even trust his own childhood friend which is the Emperor.

The Queen asked for a hug because she knows that ZH father will be in danger once he goes back to his country. She may not see him again. It will be their last goodbye.

The revenge did not get achieved until the end ( Episode 40 ). The FL lead plays a very important role in this drama. She is Zang Hai side kick and protect ZH from his second enemy Eunuch Cao and his goonies. Zhang Jing Yi did a great job portraying Princess An Tu.

I hope to see them again in a modern drama. Their chemistry is sizzling hot. You don't need a torrid kissing scene to see their chemistry. A bite in the lip is enough. Just follow their eyes movement. The way they look and tease each other during their evening date in the boat.

ZH father ask permission from the Queen before excavating the site which is located in Dongxia so he can retrieve the Gui Seal as ordered by the Emperor. ZH father recognize her. Her identity can not be expose to other people in the camp or they will kill her. He had to hide her in his tent while treating her wounds. They are from different country.

The friendship between the Queen of Dongxia and ZH father plays an important role in the future episodes. The Queen helps ZH to find the Gui seal using her special compass. She trusted ZH because of her friendship with his father.

The Queen owes her life to ZH father. She lost her husband and has to take care of 2 daughters. It is natural to have a special feeling of gratitude and crush toward the person who save her. After all ZH father is good looking.

ZH father loves his family and his wife. He rushed back to his family and country after he got the Gui Seal and the 3 bronze fishes.

I actually preferred Wang Yuwen ( Super Star Academy ), Bai Lu ( Ace Troops ) or Zhang Jin Yi ( Legend of Zang Hai ) for second collaboration. Wu Xuan Yi is like a younger sister of Xiao Zhan.

I totally agree with you. I remember you were defending this drama against all the antis from the very beginning of the show. They all try to gang up on you which is disgusting. We know who they are.

They think because the show has ended and they can come here to trash this drama. They are fully aware that Xiao Zhan fans are all busy at work.

Hacken Lee who is a popular HK singer and XZ friend from Song 1 variety show said he is watching TLOZH. He has already watched pass episode 30 and he guessed who the 3rd villain/mask man . He said the drama is really good.

Defending and protecting this drama is not dragging the whole fandom. Is this drama a big threat to JOL ? Do you guys have very little confidence with ZRY ?

You are obviously a JOL ZRY fan. You gave it a 10 rating. You are also giving JOL ZRY fans a bad rap by coming here and crossing the line by saying this drama is not as good as JOL. You could have said both dramas are good but the storyline are different.

Are we on JOL page or TLOZH page ? I am kind of confuse with JOL fans keep coming here to promote JOL. If JOL is so good as you said, you don't need to promote it here and keep comparing these 2 dramas.

I even saw a you tube video few weeks ago promoting JOL 1 ( a 3 hrs. video from episode 1 to 3 ) but using Xiao Zhan TLOZH poster. Viewers who will click on it thinking Xiao Zhan is on episode 1 to 3. It has more than 400 thousand views.

JOL 1 is ZRY drama, he is the male lead and why not use the JOL1 poster to lure viewers into watching it. Xiao Zhan is not even in the first 3 episode by youtuber sugar moments.

You don't have spoiler tag on your comment, also. I am trying to convince viewers how satisfying the ending of Zang Hai where he get rid of all his enemies. I am sure new viewers will be happy to hear that.

I hope his next role will be a cop or a detective. He said in an interview that he wants to play a role as a cop. We know Xiao Zhan likes to challenge different roles.

I don't think there will be season 2. The director already said in the interview that all the bad guys are dead.

TLOZH is better than JOL. All Zang Hai big 3 enemies died. He was able to revenge his family's death. It doesn't have cliffhangers and season 2 or 3. In JOL, the main bad guys (Emperor, Crown price and second prince) never die. That is the reason why they can drag it to season 2 and 3.
