I watched Episode 1. She literally looks like a different person to me. The way she laughs and her figure is like a new person. I like her very much, however, i don't appreciate too much plastic surgeries. She is in her 30s, and nothing is wrong with that to look like you are in your 30s. Guess that's who she is now. The Chinese have reallllly strict rules. See their Internet is internal and social media apps are censored. They all have to bypass to access International apps. I think that's the case in showing kisses/skinship. Maybe xianxias have to strictly follow the rules, since they talk about gods and legends(?). But the modern one are much better, still censored though.
8.9 is pretty high for a Chinese Drama on MDL, usually most of the drama that rated 9.0 and higher are k-drama
