Given all the trials and tribulations she's been through since episode 1, and being close to death several times, she's in survival mode right now - trying to gain independence, financial freedom... I don't think she's had time to even consider romance. She probably doesn't even think she's suitable for him given that he's nobility and she, well a servant at this stage... but she likes him as a person and appreciates their deeping friendship, and all the support he's provided her behind the scenes... Plus, they both confessed that they didn't want to be married so that's what she's thinking and operating from...

Yes, the princess will target FL when the FL becomes a major obstacle coming between her and her love LC... but that doesn't happen until episode 21. There are other annoying villains prior to that that makes you feel like the FL never gets a break... some of the scenes can be triggering, so if you're sensitive, you may want to brace yourself.

Yes, there are more scenes as they are integral to the storytelling... but they don't appear in every episode. And, yes, you will get annoyed and frustrated. But, there are many sweet scenes between the ML and FL that makes it all the worthwhile to stick around... though their romance is sloowww burning, mature, their conversations are well written with hidden meaning that make it all the more interesting.

Agreed! I've rewatched a number of scenes and realized how many little details I missed providing clues and foreshadowing of what's to come, and also the mindset and intention of the characters.... I'm busy reading subs, so easy to miss things... like how 3 Lang had different (more elaboate) embroidery on his clothing vs JCY/others at the kite scene and how he was sitting elevated relative to the rest.... insightful

I too blame it on the editing... they could have included some shots of his face / eyes to communicate his concern, anger, worry, panic as part of the story telling... it felt like something was missing... their reunion was a bit anti-climactic

can't wait for JCY to step up his ruthlessness... about time. And, Wang Qing needs to be taken out completely or be sent into slavehood as retribution... his part in the drama needs to end... tired of seeing him on screen.

I just love how he thought about her and wondered if there was anything she wanted from her home town that he could bring back... so sweet ❤️ he's doing a lot of these gestures that reveal how much he's fallen for her 😊
