Sadly, we all are feeling the same... DYX is not some powerful, experienced strategist who can manuever through court politics, successfully take down the mighty, who we all can confidently stand behind because we trust that he knows what he's doing in order for all this to end well... (ex: Du Su from the Double; JCY from Flourished Peony)... I mean he's this book worm, who just graduated top of the class, and is just entering the work force... He is so green... He kind of reminds of LC in Flourished Peony but not as bad...

Yes, I should clarify... SH and DYX did meet, but DYX didn't really remember her until after they were married and when he connected the dots... Even though DYX lived next door after being saved, the two didn't really have much interaction. I do miss a lot of the details while reading subs and trying to make sense of the plot, so will need to rewatch episodes to catch what I've missed. For now, I'm just keeping up with daily releases but will rewatch at a later time. Thanks for clarifying and filling the missing pieces for me :)

Regarding the SH and DYX arc, can someone explain why DYX decided to get married so early - meaning he hadn't passed his exams yet and established his career as an official, and did not understand or have experience within the political landscape... consequently, he was subjected to forces beyond his control, and thus putting him, SH, and their relationship at risk. Also, he hadn't met SH prior to the wedding, so it wasn't like they were in love and marriage was the natural course.

Wow... your comments are so insightful 👍helps me better understand the characters and their mindset as they evolve in the story. This drama, more than others, is rich with underlying meaning, metaphors, and symbolism in its story telling, and these can be easily missed if the translation is poor or if one doesn't speak the language.

Given the 24 epi, I'm more concerned of the separation time between ML/FL... they need to have more screen time when their feelings are out in the open, and not FL walking around oblivious to him... the writers better not save their romance until the last episode... otherwise... me be like 😭😭😭
