Soooo I haven't fallen in love with this show like I expected to, sadly.
To me, Thame and Po became a little too sugary sweet, too early. If that even makes sense. Don't get me wrong, they're cute and I can tell they have amazing chemistry, I'm not blind. But I didn't like how they became friends already in the first episode. I would have liked to see a little more ping pong between them, it would have made their dynamic so much more interesting. They seemed to have feelings for each other beyond a crush almost immediately (even if Thame didn't realize it until later) and they have been acting all lovey-dovey ever since.
I'm missing the believable obstacles that makes the "reward" of them finally getting together so much better. Jun doesn't feel like a real threat, his weird antagonistic behavier seems more like filler. I would have liked to see Po struggle more with trust issues after his ex. Maybe Thame trying to push Po away after realizing his feelings. Again, so them getting together would have been that much sweeter. This is obviously just based on my own preferences.
Actually, I have kind of the same issue with Mars. They got back together too easily and the conflict was over too soon. That's why I'm struggling now to stay invested.
Anyways, sorry for feeling the need to vent. I'm happy so many people are enjoying the show.
I just noticed we now have a number of episodes??? I checked for other sources and could only find IMDB which also states 8 episodes. Dying for more info/confirmation.
Okay stop gaslighting people, he never gave any statement or post any about racist and anti-black stereotypes.…
"And because thai people follow chinese and korean beauty standards they generally fine white skin color more attractive it doesn't mean they're racist or discriminate against brown/black people. "
I've been building up my anticipation for this for so long now that I'm worrying I'll actually get a heart attack at the first sign of new promotional stuff... When there's a poster or info on the amount of episodes or whatever I'll probably go into shock
I need William and First (from The Eclipse) to star in something together as brothers immediately. They're both so expressive in this super intense way that makes me feel like they're staring into my soul.
Have u seen "Let free the curse of taekwando" and "Blue canvas of youthful days ", "happy of the end "? These…
Thank you so much for these recs! Will check them out :) I have this flaw where I lose my patience/interest really quickly even if the show I'm watching is "objectively" good. I'm extremely picky, I guess.
It was so damn magical to watch in real time and I will always love it for that experience. To be honest, I'll always be chasing the high it gave me. It was (and still is) so unlike anything I have seen before.
LOVED Won Tae-min since You Make Me Dance but I'm sorry, I just can't buy him as a high school student and the younger "brother" in this scenario. He is a (gorgeous) 30-year-old man and he LOOKS it. I almost think the roles should have been reversed so he at least would be a senior lol. It was a lovely watch, though!
I loved Great's character in this episode. It makes sense that he seems more fleshed out and flawed in the OG timeline. Also, his thirst for Tyme in this version is just more realistic... The way he found out about Tyme filming them and uploading their s*x tape online and he was just like "That's nice, wanna hook up again, though?" And Tyme being like?????? Please it was so funny 😭

Actually it does lol
I really hope it keeps going like this, I've been struggling to really engage with anything I've watched so far this year.
