The 2nd episode was sooooo goood. Way better than the 1st in my opinion. It's incredible to see every scene I've imagined for years being played out PERFECTLY. BounPrem's chemistry is unreal to me. Although I still can't really say I care about any of the other characters yet except for Manow who is a darling.
I'm still processing the episode, coming to terms with the elements that live up to my ridiculously high expectations (that I've had 3 years to build up in my head) and the ones that don't. But one thing I'm sure about is that the entire final scene is literally a piece of art. They couldn't have perfected that scene more if they'd had 7 years instead of 3. It's flawless in my eyes. Looking forward to more magic moments like it.
I LOVE them for doing that photo countdown 😠we waited 3 years so i guess it's the least we deserve but still it actually does make the wait more bearable
I agree with what I have seen other people mention here, that the pacing in the story is a little weird. But I can easily ignore it because the production is so smooth and the acting is great. It's a decent, above-average show in my opinion. It's not changing my world or anything but I'm enjoying it.
This comment is in appreciation of Vee's brother. He is lovely and delightful. The sounds he made when he threw Vee the cuddle pillow were too funny. Also loved the insightful conversation they had about Mark. Brothers being supportive like that is something I enjoy to see!
It's so refreshing to see a Japanese show about someone my own age who uses the word gay! Kusakawa has this way of making every character he plays extremely loveable but it's probably gonna take me a minute or two to not immediately go Rokkaku!!!! (affectionate) whenever I see him
This show is precious to me. On good days I really appreciate the story they're telling and the way they're dealing with loneliness and deep fear of abandonment. On bad days I'm sad about the amount of sorrow they're piling on us week after week with little to no silver lightnings especially considering the first season was so light (with darker undertones, sure!) and kind of my comfort show. Either way, I find the story moving and beautiful.
I could be wrong but this looks like a BTS moment of the first season. It looks like their old apartment and they are wearing these exact outfits in the 2nd episode.
Between Seojoon telling Jiwoo to take care of his hands because they also belong to SJ and Jiwoo literally kissing the blood off Seojoon's lips I genuinely don't know what to do with myself...
Ok so I am LOVING this so far... I get why a lot of people are upset with Jiwoo and while there's no excuse for his behavior, I'm still pretty sure there's a reason. We just don't know it yet. These first couple of episodes have exceeded my expectations and I have no reason to believe it won't all eventually be explained in a satisfying manner.
I just feel blessed that they didn't go the easy route and give us all fluff and no plot. Instead, the actors get a chance to really stretch their acting muscles in a nuanced, fleshed out story. Not to mention the chemistry between the characters is stronger than ever... I basically watched all of those flashback scenes while screaming into my pillow. Feeling intrigued and excited about what's to come.
I'm literally in shock at that synopsis. Probs gonna spend every minute of every day until the 5th processing…
True... but as long as Jiwoo doesn't still have feelings for her, I think it will be fine. It always makes the characters more rich when we meet people from their past.
This is getting so difficult for me to watch (and I'm saying this as someone who LOVES angst)
