i feel like every time America tries to remake another country's drama, it's bad. i mean, look at the US versions of UK shows like skins and the inbetweeners. both US remakes were pretty terrible. i think this happens because it's really hard to take something from one culture to fit another. hana yori dango/boys over flowers is one of my favorite stories ever, and i know it is for a bunch of other people as well. i just hope the essence of this story doesn't get ruined due to americanization. i am planning to watch it, only because i am very curious. i really hope it's not that bad.

btw, i personally don't find the cast that appealing. the guys playing liam and oliver aren't too bad though. just my opinion. however, i do like that it's a mixture of ethnicities. that makes me happy!
