So after few years in my to watch list i finally manage to watch this. The story is okay for earlier eps but honestly it bored me in last 10 eps and i just fast forward most scene. The best thing from this series imo is the ending song and the scene on it, it doesn't get boring and it just make me keep watching it .

Typical drama from Mango Tv so sub is not great but you can understand most of it.

Finally done watch all 68 eps in 5 days. Tbh im not really fans of Chinese historical drama and last time i watch historical drama with more than 50 eps i think Rise of Phoenix which is really good series and i really recommend it.
Only reason i started this only because Zhang Zi Yi. At this point i think everybody know she is good actress but i think this series don't give her justice to her acting calibre. I read some comment here before started this and most people complain she not suitable to cast as FL given her character in the earlier series need to act as spoiled teenager and kinda of get it but funnily enough i dont mind it too much because when else you can see her act like that, as far as i remember she only act as strong mature women in her movie career. ML Zhou Yi Wei character is hard carry this series, i really like his character as a masculine general and his romance with FL also quite good but there don't have too much scene together in earlier series.
Im instantly hooked into the series since eps 1 but after the 1st plot finished and they started another plot story on the middle of series it started dragging down and i started fast forward most scene. It started pick up the pace when the final plot happen until the end.
Overall i think it not bad series but it suffered with too many eps. 8.0/10 rating for me.

Zhou Yi Wei!! I'm currently watching his drama Rebel Princess and he is really good in there.

I don't have have any issue with pace or the way they meet in fact they look good together but this screenwriter is famous for his simplistic plot, just a couple talk sweet and lovely. Maybe it okay for short series but for 30 eps series? Anyway i just hope it's not going that way

To me it's more about the story, her husband just died plus her mental and mind in not a good spot so it feel too much for me if they force the loveline. I don't mind they use timeskips in the end if the scriptwriter really want to create the loveline between them.

Hmm, i like FL previous work but i might pass it this time. Watch a couple 1st eps and it look same like the screenwriter previous drama. Cheesy romance drama and i bet you might feel cringe later 😂

Im happy if the drama still focusing on FL and her revenge toward SFL and let's hope no unnecessary romance between her and SML.

Yeah, at this point people here should already get used about this rating system. Even if you want to complain wait till it end because usually currently airing series always changing fast like yesterday it 7.0 and now 7.9.

Wow i just found out through Reddit that Zhang Zi Yi act in this series, the only time she in drama series. Last time i watch series this long is Rise of Phoenix, wish me luck guys.

It mostly just drama that have bad sub for Chinese, for movie the sub is good i think at least in my experience.

Hmm, im not sure about shots quality of the Korean version..it's been long since i watch it. Maybe the quality is bad since it's an old movie but my comment mostly toward people that already watch the Korean version. Im from Malaysia so my language is Malay (the actor that speak Malay in this film is clearly Malaysia Chinese who are not fluent with Malay i think)

Im surprised i manage to finish this although honestly im mostly fast forward many scenes in last 10 eps. As the synopsis say , FL betrayed his bf ML to make sure she can get a revenge to other person which for me too extreme. Funnily enough for 39 eps series, FL revenge only shown on final eps. There's few couples in this series but the main couples is the most boring, i think ML doing the heavy work here on most of their scene. I recommend this series if you like a rag to riches kind of drama

I like this ending than the Japanese version but it's still doesn't feel right. I don't know what is it, maybe after watching previous 15 eps scriptwriter need to do more to convince me that FL have changed and give her relationship with ML another chance. Feel like another breakup will happen later lol.

Coming for crime thriller stay for Qin Li and Wang Di friendship. Start quite slow and the flashback with many timeline can be confusing as you need to concentrate which year the flashback come from. Doesn't help the old policeman look same in every timeline. I wish adult Qin Li meet both his friend and have a talk or whatever, so kinds disappointing they finally meet just briefly on that high building. For a crime thriller it kind of weak imo but i like with all that school and friend relationship that they show in this drama.

Yeah, 1st time i see someone got so angry just because episode got cut lol. Looking at her profile, look like she made the acc just to ranting about this drama.

Dude, it's Wong Kar Wai so all the actor in this series know what happen when they agree to appear in his drama. I don't know why you so angry for such a thing.
