This is more of coming of age type series focus solely on FL and i think it did really good job on that though if you watch because romance you might disappoint with the ending. For me i like how they handle both genre and prefer they change a bit on the ending from novel but it's still great series and ZJM never disappoint as a FL.

So it's ending still the same thought the novel manage to cover more after LQQ come back to her hometown.

If you only watch this series and never read the novel you might want to at least read the extra chapter after the novel ending which cover the pov of XB and ZJ which tell you what happen to them later in the series.

I dont know if you can call it love triangles, maybe just little of it but this series is more about the growth of ZJM character and she the only main role in this series actually. If you are fan of ZJM i think this is her project that you shouldn't miss.

I bet that the scenario that ZJ fans wish will happen but i doubt this series will change the ending from the novel.

She doesn't end up with XB or ZJ but if you watch the 1st ep opening scene you might remember she sitting at the bench and actually waiting to meet with XB after not seeing him since her schools days though the writer end the novel without show whether they meet or not.

Yeah, it definitely look like they won't change anything. Even though i don't like the open ending but as long as the series included the chapter where the novel writer tell from XB and ZJ pov it will still be good imo.

I feel you but if it goes according to book i have a bad news for you. Next few eps should be about QQ relationship with XF and ZJ. Im surprise XB is list as main lead in here because in the book he def a support character like ZJ.

Yeah XB and QQ shippers will not like it but it will be good for FL character development so she can opening herself to other person and looking her future beyond with XB.

Wow, Zhao Jin Mai have come a long way and she really nailed her character in this series. I remember watching her 1st time in Reborn and immediately make check her filmography.

If you already watch the 1st ep, in the 1st scene Qi Qi who just back to China after working in oversea sitting in the bench and actually waiting for someone she known. That man is Xiao Bo but he actually coming late and feeling hesitant to meet Qi Qi again given their past history. The novel doesn't show whether he manage to meet Qi Qi after running late.

Wow finally they adapted this novel. I remember reading this novel online long time ago and wish they adapt it to drama. As someone who doesn't like open open ending i hope they can change it in the drama.

Not bad for a mystery/thriller movie though halfway into the movie they give too much clues and i kinda know who the bad guy so the whodunit feeling which make me excited to watch early in the movie is lost. the scene where the real wife is died is so cruel and sad and make me crying watching her friend reaction to that.
