The plot armour when the main cast first met the monster was ridiculous. 10 jap soldiers had no chance but the male lead who is literally a pawn shop man can take down the monster no problem

It would’ve been better if they didn’t try to force the romance from the start. It could’ve just been about the people find comfort and solace in truly horrifying situations but they really had to force the slow mos in the first few eps. Felt that totally ruined it for me. And you’re right they are really SPELLING out the struggles of Koreans for us which I feel was so unnecessary because we can infer for ourselves from the suffering they are already showing to us.

Very slow and boring start but really picks up from ep 3. I’m at ep 6 now and it’s really fun now. Very similar vibes to stranger things

She’s ok in the show. Her character is a bit annoying initially but she’ll grow on you

Same I’ve watched her since dong yi. I started this drama for her and I don’t think this was her best performance. Idk if it’s just bad acting on her end, or the bad dialogues, weak plot or bad directing. I really hope she gets good projects soon 😭😭😭

The acting in the first few eps were REALLY awkward in the first few eps. Her acting got better in subsequent episodes and in emotional scenesz. but in other scenes it always felt like something was off

Just caught up to the latest eps and based on ep 15 preview, this show is just going in circles. Dk if Noh sukmin is dead but these past two eps really almost had me die of boredom. We did get a bit more plot development though but at what cost?

Sis was ok with him taking people to hell until she found out that he also did that to her father LOL. They had a whole convo of her hating him for being a demon and forming contracts in the beginning but she got over that cos she actually needed his demon powers LOL.
