Im not sure if there's any nuances based on the original language used that may say differently. And I've also haven't heard any backlash from the chinese audience. Tho i really haven't researched if there was any. It is considered to be a well known anime, so they should be chinese anime viewers should be aware of it.

But i ended up feeling a little bit of pity, he got smacked down figuratively 3 times and a physical slap from his boss. 😂 Fcy very pretty in her new dress. Who would think she can literally slice and dice you. XZ can't stop looking at her and getting her confirmation that she doesnt want to be a noble consort. And yes, xz you're jealous. He has some irrational insecurity with scholars linked to fcy. The emperor actually trying to propose to fcy was new and funny. In the novel, by the time xz legit entered the capital, it was an open secret for the higher ups that they are together. Old man tao is back! I wish to see him more. And the bird. I miss the falcon.
