Burning the letter was more proof to the blockhead that she would always choose ZL and how much he's important to her.
Besides the way YJX easily gave his confession letter, those letters may not mean so much. He would still be protected. That's how powerful the yu family is right now.

Of course she's happy that he's safe and they're both in the capital. I dont think she's angry with him but she's upset that she hasnt gone home and she misses him. She knows he has reasons. But that's not the kind of wife she wants to be, she wants to be able to support and help him. In one of the previews, she was afraid that all this work for their better life would destroy him. And another preview she outright told him she wants to help. And in the Capital, she should be able to. She knows how to maneuver in society. They're like a better a version of madam yu and her husband.

Also, for a sen and the soldiers, i also thought at first it was one of his soldiers. they do look similar.
However those soldiers would not dare outright visit fty's residence before zl or unless zl orders them to (w/c most probably mean it's an emergenc). I highly doubt they would frown and snub their leader. ZL's expression was he was exasperated. So it could only be grown up a'sen.

Maybe she doesnt? Because she said that no fireworks would be more beautiful than the fireworks done by ZL.
Though, when sanniang said there has been more fireworks recently in the capital, so i think that's a way for drama to say that it was indeed ZL.

He made that face because ZL has not gone home yet though he's already in the capital too. it's upsetting their entire household especially FTY.

I read rhe part in the novel, he was from an offshoot branch of a merchant family. Father died because of an illness. Then his mother was also accused of having relations with someone. And ended her life. That's why he had a soft spot for FL.

Her decisions are sound. Also during the first part, they were in her environment. now that they are in the military arc, FL was floundering a bit until ML guided her.

Yessss.. please.. they're practically married.
But. I also dont mind this tension. Hahaha
