I loved how high-quality the production was, from the visuals, cinematography, background music, plot and acting to every other aspect of the show. I have a few minor complaints, but mostly it was so good. It's the best-produced C-BL released since the last year. I hope we get more high-production BLs from China like this.

When Lu Feng is soft and gentle with Yi Chen he's so pookie, I get butterflies in my stomach seeing their soft scenes but when he's aggressive and violent with him, he's downright scary, I was scared of him through the screen. Interesting to see two sides of the same person be so vividly different from each other.

Have you watched To My Shore, Sammy's Children's Day, Revenged Love and Kill To Love? If not, you can check them out, these are my favourite Chinese bls, I was just as obsessed with them when they were airing as I am with Double Helix right now. I will also check out Lost To You and The Gaze, heard good reviews about them.
