I watched TFF feeling deeply connected with the underlying emotions and significance of their every action so calling Sang Yan a liar is based on surface appearance with no consideration for the emotional depth revealed by BJT's outstanding performance. His character is so much more than a "liar." He went about helping YiFan in a roundabout way such as telling her he made too much porridge, He asked her to help him eat it because he made too much. He told her he came back early from the Chinese New Year celebration at his parent's house because it was too noisy. He rushed back to YiFan with food so she would not be left out of the holiday celebration. He didn't tell her the real reason. What a liar😂💗🥰

This is not to same some sincerely didn't like it but the low ratings of 1 for example are grossly exaggerated. It is nowhere as bad. TFF was hit was trolls daily and also had cp fans from other dramas attack it but it also has fans of the ML and FL support it. Our Generation does not get the fan support. I love both leads and enjoy watching them as well as the other cast members, and also sincerely enjoyed Our Generation.
The start of this drama makes it seem as if it is one those scumbag type dramas and it is not. If you keep watching you will see he chases his wife because he didn't want a divorce and he doesn't allow the ex to harm his wife. Watch to at least 20 mins in. I found myself laughing especially when the grandpa comes in.
