I am glad I waited to read the novel. I watched Our Generation without any expectations and enjoyed it. Like you, I like the actors and actresses. I felt connected with their characters.

I loved her for her patience and empathy. She gets upset at times but as you say, she doesn't mock him or say anything hateful. She just wants him to communicate. I love that she is not afraid to face anyone with the truth. We saw that the way she spoke to the principal when she was told to be friends with more females and not males and when she told Xiaoman that she was JQX friend. She will not be bullied. She is frank and courageous.

She is awful. I cannot understand how any mother could treat her child that way no matter if she mentally ill.

Other dramas have done a special half episode. I guess they gave us some sort of wedding and their life together in the final episode.

It is a good thing when I first watched it, I found the first episode confusing so I was shocked at the prison scene in ep 21 😂 I watched L&P many times and I start to my anxiety level go up every time I get close to ep21. On my last rewatch I skipped ep 21 but there is such beauty in the emotions that I will watch it on my next rewatch 💗

They would have done it by now so I doubt it will happen.

They should also do a special episode with YT and JQX after marriage with children.
