1)is there love triangle? if there how much deep it is ?2)when do leads will be together3)is there any breakup?…
They were always "together." There was a special bond since childhood. And there was no doubt that since high school years that they had eyes only for each other. Their first kiss was in ep 15 but something happens in the ML's life and he is not seen in ep 16 and 17. The last 5 episodes is pretty much all them and there is a definite HE. No doubt about it. The key to enjoying this is to pay close attention to the interactions, words, actions, and expressions. If you feel connected you will love it. There are only 24 episodes so not everything was fully covered in terms of certain aspects but I was satisfied and loved the relationship. It is 10 for me and I can't even move on as I loved the leads so much.
I would love to see themcollab again in future but letβs give Maimai neck some rest after doing back to back…
He always looks so happy and relaxed with ZJM. I think they are friends. I didn't watch Ling He in Love's Rebellion. It came out after TPR and when I thought maybe I would start LR, I saw him with Jing Tian in an interview. He was so polite with her and called her teacher. He was so respectful as he stood to the side. And she was kind as she praised him as an actor, but that was only one interaction and I don't know if there were others that I would have seen differently. Either way, it left an impression and I have yet to watch LR. All I know is that I love watching Mai Mai and Ling He together. And it started with The Princess Royal π
Okay. I guess you didn't find him shyly peeking at her and smiling cute. As for your perception of him not loving her, maybe watch his expressions moe in ep 15 and all his expressions in previous episodes. She is the light in his life. Realize how much he endured being mentally abused his mother and denied his identity and then he meets Ying Tao who shouts his name from the mountain top and tells him his name has meaning. He has meaning. Realize when she confronts his mother why he wrote the word "hero" on his window. Episode 15 doesn't tell the reason why he left, but it doesnt' need to tell me because I know just watching him, that there is some huge struggle in his life that he doesn't want to touch her life. Because it is obvious the inner struggle within him that even Ying Tao sensed because she heard tears in his voice. People complained that they are not connected because the drama left out details and they do not feel connected but I can only speak for myself and say, Zhang Ling He was outstanding in his performance because he expressions told me more about his emotions than words could.
That saying, I hope the last 5 episodes will be ones that you find significant. I feel the director's angle was to keep JQX struggles in the dark till the Hong Kong arc for effect. When you watch them, you will be in no doubt of how much JQX loves and needs Ying Tao. It takes pausing and going to back during the episodes to fully understand the beautiful emotional dialogue. Their performance in the HK arc was outstanding. Sadly, not everyone appreciated it so I can only speak for myself.
Absolutely! Your review shows understanding of the characters especially of JQX. The problem with some who didn't like him was that they didn't get it. Like you, I watched all his expressions and could see what he felt even if I didn't know the details.
This main couple deserve 100/10 Talents, beautiful, chemistry, acting...top notchThe script and the editing are…
Their chemistry was amazing. I cried through all their emotional moments. Ying Tao was strong and brave. But JQX needed help from the one person he knew would see him for who he is. It broke my heart, but I loved the last 5 episodes. They were so beautiful even if I wanted more.
I have just finished this drama and I am crying. It was beautiful. Them talking to the younger versions of themselves…
When a drama leaves us unable to move on but with a need to savor the aura or go back to watch for details, it is a success. In the end, it doesn't matter what others say, but how the drama made us feel. I find myself rewatching and listening carefully to the dialogue.
If you watched Fireworks of My Heart, you will know the director used boiling water to represent hot kiss scenes. And now I think the director of OG used billowing bedsheets and candle light for bed scenes. Did any of you notice JQX was not wearing a shirt? I wondered why but watching ep 23 again, I think the reason is so that we see the outline of his body under the sheet with the lighting. It implies the scene. All these techniques for censored dramas π
I liked TBT but it didn't leave me feeling as obsessed and attached as I do with OG. I feel he has more chemistry…
I got major second hand embarrassment when she was looking into the bus! I think they invited her in. I can't even thinking of that scene without feeling embarrassment π Her character was quite interesting. On the one hand a genius student. On the otherhand she had a big crush on the ml. But yes, cute!
