the whole time i was like i love yintao but if you were my friend irl i will be like let him go, bc why is it…
Ying Tao understands him. If you listen to what she says to him on the steps just before she packed her suitcase to leave him, she pretty much wrapped up his character in a nutshell. I was not one of the viewers who got mad at him in ep 15 because I sensed what was said here including his own reason that he didn't want her to suffer with him. The scene where she tutored the little boy who reminded her of him because he also felt his parents only noticed his older brother. I think that served a purpose of having Ying Tao think about how JQX needed her. And you can see how he was before he allowed himself to accept her in his life. He was struggling with himself. He needed to learn to love himself the way he is not feel he must be exceptional the way his mother made him feel. Ying Tao understands this. Therefore, she will never see it they way you do.
If you rewatch ep 21, watch Ying Toa carefully when she confronted JQX on the steps before packing her suitcase. Her speech was outstanding. She went deep into the depth of JQX's character. She knows him so well.
I liked TBT but it didn't leave me feeling as obsessed and attached as I do with OG. I feel he has more chemistry…
Do you watch their promotions? They also did a Hello Saturday event for The Princess Royal. Their chemistry is amazing. Even watching the bts for OG, you can see their chemistry.
it has ended, all the people are disappointed with the drama but I guess I am the only one who cried from first…
I even cried when JQX asked Ying Tao's parents if he could call them mom and dad π The thing is many of the people who complain didn't want to like OG. Some dropped the drama but never forgot a day to come in to complain. How does one complain all the way through a drama they dropped. Some of ZLH's fans are angry over an issue that I am not sure is valid as it makes no sense. If you noticed, some rated all the episodes with ones before they even aired so there is a group of people who want to prove OG is a flop. All I know is, I was deeply moved and captivated by OG.
I liked TBT but it didn't leave me feeling as obsessed and attached as I do with OG. I feel he has more chemistry…
I went on trip with season 2 came out. I loved Flourished Peony! The conversations between those too were quite interesting. They made me laugh. And they are both strategists. Did you see season 2?
The dialogue has been going around in my head. There has been so many outstanding scenes and dialogue. I hope…
I stopped responding to them long ago. I blocked many but they have mutliple accounts so it doesn't make a difference. I can understand difference in opinions but these particular members were on a mission for several reasons. I avoided this page until I was done with the last 4 episodes. I am going to rewatch and goover the dialogue again. They were so good! "When I look in your eyes, I see you." π

I scrolled by several comments in the past week or two saying ZLH and Mai Mai had no chemistry and had to stop myself from responding. But considering the bashing some have given to OG concerning script, production, and chemistry all under the power of a free forum I don't care anymore. I loved them in TPR and I loved them here. ZLH's chemistry with Mai Mai is much better than with Ruohan in TBT.
Didn't you see he went to speak with an irate employee? He was pushed off by that guy. I disagree about the ML's…
Does it matter how he was pushed? I assumed they were on a balcony or a roof in the building and he was pushed over. The point is he was in the hospital and didn't have insurance since he gave it up. JQX had to work to help pay.
You are entitled to your opinion. His acting was nothing like in BEITD where he was a support actor in the background. In OG he was filled with emotion. That is all I am going to say and good for you that you felt the script in TBT was excellent. I didn't bring up TBT and not going to compare OG with TBT, as it would be pointless. If you think giving details about how his cousin was pushed is good writing and necessary to the script, then I guess you will have to be disappointed. I focused on the details pertaining to the main idea and theme of OG, which kept me captivated. Not once did I have the urge to fast forward. I found myself rewatching parts and pausing to take in the words. The dialogue of OG was excellent.
At some moment, it felt like Zhang Linghe had more chemistry with Jinmai than Xu Ruohan from The Best Thing πβ₯οΈ…
I liked TBT but it didn't leave me feeling as obsessed and attached as I do with OG. I feel he has more chemistry with Mai Mai and I will say it now because this past week I have scrolled by too many comments bashing OG and comparing it to TBT. Even off screen Ling He looks so relaxed with Mai Mai. They have a natural chemistry. I cannot even move on to watch something else right now.
The director and producer could do better but what the hell with this ? Who hold wedding with only groom and bride?…
How do you know many parts were cut? I keep seeing posts about this and there are 3 screenshots. One contained a scene about the uncle in HK which would have shown us JQX's reason for leaving but this was shown in the HK arc. Another so called deleted scene looked pretty much like the one we saw but the lines where he said his cousin was helping him pay for his studies abroad was cut. Big deal if they cut that because that all came out during the Hong Kong arc. Another was about his unsent text messages. I am seeing the same posts over and over but nothing else.
I also wish there were more episodes. The wedding scene was beautiful and unique, but I wanted to see the friends etc. However, it was still outstanding.
Why did the ML's cousin fall from the building? The translation said he was pushed, but there was no further explanation…

I disagree about the ML's acting. He was outstanding. I watch his scene multiple times and his emotional scenes stand out. He was numb with his mother. She mentally abused him and he probably blanked his mind when he was with her.
