She was the light of his life. Imagine how he felt in a family that saw him as a substitute. His mother only cared about him fulfilling her dreams. Along comes Cherry who tells him the meaning of his name and made him feel that he was specal and not just a substitute for his late brother. That young actress was really good. And Mai Mai is perfect. She doesn't overact.

I am responding concerning the post about the 40 episodes. It has nothing to do with her being in denial. I told you before. I want to watch the drama without the outside drama. People keep saying the same thing over and over and repeating the same thing about ZLH's deleted scenes but nobody knows why. I did see that one scene was about his cousin in HK and would have explained why he left. What if they decided to keep that a mystery and deleted that? Nobody knows. And I want to enjoy the rest of the drama without this outside drama.

By the way, some keep saying he stopped promoting the drama on Weibo and yet he did today. There is a link somewhere below .

I don't know about others but I felt the connection between them from childhood. I stare at their faces for every minute expression 😂

He also has great chemistry with Jin Mai which is probably why they are in a second collaboration. They have great chemistry on screen and off screen.

She is not in denial. You are not understanding her comment as it does not pertain to ZLH's scenes. The issue with 40 episodes vs 24 episodes has been discussed here before OG aired also as many of us were already concerned about cut episodes as happened with Ski Into Love. Apparently Youku has new policy with modern dramas being under a certain number. The article was not pertaining to ZLH scenes. Also some have said it was never supposed to be 40 episodes and that it was a mistake on MDL. I don't know for sure. I would have preferred at least 30 eps as I like extended endings. The issue with ZLH scenes being deleted as not seen in the drama so far, is another issue that nobody knows why it was done.

I have been scrolling by many of the comments patiently or trying. But I have to say this.

There are so many burner accounts popping up on this page. Why don't you all use your real accounts? If you feel strongly about something why hide behind your other accounts? It is ridiculous how many times I have seen users having conversations with themselves.

Tonight it should come together. I am staying up for it. Even though I still enjoyed 16 and 17 and laughed at the ghost story scene, I would have preferred not to be held in suspense especially with only 6 more episodes to go. I have hope especially as I loved ep 15. I mean I didn't want him to leave but ZLH was outstanding and I felt so bad for JQX.

I am sure now I fell asleep. The last I saw of her she was going around to get some business with Ying Tao. The next thing I new it was HK.

I am praying to see him and for some peace on Earth or should I say MDL !!!🙏

But first I need to rewatch ep 18 because I am sure I slept through the first part of it as I don't remember seeing a new guy 🤭

I am not saying I don't believe it, but nobody knows why it was done or if it as they say it is. I just want to watch the drama and continue to enjoy it without all the outside drama. They also said he is sad and has not been promoting the drama on his weibo but that was negated by a post showing he did today. Whatever it is, it is. I am still enjoying OG and I loved all his scenes especially ep 9 and 15. I will continue to give Zlh and Mai Mai my support as I think they have great chemistry on and off screen. They are comfortable together and quite delightful to watch. I am praying to see the leads together in the up coming episodes.

Two episodes of new college roommates...I try to be forgiving but they I hope they do what is needed to be done in the last 6 episodes. I want to see more Ling He scenes. I need to update my profile with OG. It gets to be added to my favorite dramas because of certain scenes I keep rewatching,
