Ying Tao knows what she wants. She is not afraid to face her conflicts. I am not surprised she is headed to HK…
I will be up late again tonight unless I fall asleep. Sometimes the music makes my eyes close and I just listening to it. Of course, I need the subiitles!
From the preview for 19-20, it makes more sense now why yingtao kept asking him so many questions about what they…
I don't know why anyone would say they are good with them not ending up together. I am pretty sure I saw a wedding scene unless I am mixing this up with Shine On! I am. convinced that these two are going to be together. When JQX looks at Ying Tao, she is everything to him. And Ying Tao loves him too.
Was listening to Richard Marx (Right Here Waiting For You) smh I feel like this song fits our YT and JQX 🥲https://youtu.be/S_E2EHVxNAE?si=ekc5Y7LpO3Qc2nsv
I still like it but ep 18 was meant to be sombre. I suppose it is an opening for what is to come in ep 19. It…
I don't think he did this for his mom. From a conversation between two of the fathers, his family had financial problems . They said she sold her car so that probably means she needed the money. We will find out soon why he was in HK. I was wondering why he didn't go to college on a scholarship or something but there must be a reason he had to stay in HK. It will be revealed soon I am sure.
Did you see the part when Cherry was tutoring the little boy who reminded her of JQX. Then later you saw her thinking…
They will. And they already started in ep 18. In the trailer I saw him visiting someone in the hospital. Someone mentioned his cousin. Do you remember he spoke with his cousin on the phone before going to HK? It looks like something happened to his cousin.

It seems he could not go abroad due to finances. I think one of the fathers said his mother sold her car. It is what comes to mind especially after seeing him in ep 18. But what I feel is that he didn't want to bring Cherry who has been his brightest star into what he feels is dark. All I know for sure is that he didn't want to leave her. He was crying the whole time he pretended he was not leaving. I never felt angry at his actions. I know some said he lied but I felt he must have had his reasons. And I felt as if he just wanted to believe for even those few minutes that it was true. The human mind does strange things in defense mode. We will know more by tomorrow.
I don't always watch the dramas carefully. With some dramas I get distracted and even itch to fast forward. But with OG, I rewatch and I am always surprised when the episode ends. I find myself watching every expression and listening to the words carefully, especially between the leads. I feel connected to JQX even if he was missing at times.
i saw this on twitter. they really changed a lot in the drama compared to the novel. they cut so many of linghe’s…
Maybe the producer used Yu Qiao as the voice to present the reason why JQX should not have left the way he did. Yu Qiao is the most logical of the friends to confront JQX. Maybe Yu Qiao was meant to be the harbinger so to speak. I didn't read the novel so I am just watching. I am going to watch till the end and staying away from anything happening outside the drama. I feel connected with OG and I can feel the emotions due to the excellent acting. I rewatch for details and take what I can from them. Wait till the end to see how they present the details if they ever do.
Ik a lot of ppl don’t like it, but it’s their personal preference. I cried almost every episode because it…
I still like it but ep 18 was meant to be sombre. I suppose it is an opening for what is to come in ep 19. It was a downer with the setting and seeing the way JQX lived. They are gradually easing us into a storm of emotions until it is all resolved. I think we all need to wait for the end to understand the way this drama was produced. Sometimes we need to reach the end of the road to look back to understand. It is a matter of viewpoint.
Ep 18 is just the bridge to 19. You can wait to watch it.
I mean, you can watch it but it is the one episode so far that I found not so exciting or uplifiting. But it is meant to be sombre I suppose. I think they are trying to keep us in suspense but with only 6 more episodes left...Maybe they will show us a lot more in flashbacks after they meet again I assume in ep 19. It might be an extended conclusion as in TFF when it spanned about 3 episodes and all the little details were revealed that they didn't show us.
