I love Yingtao's character. It is no wonder her friends gather around her. It is no wonder Jiang Qiaoxi stares at her with such love in his eyes. Her bright personality lifted his abused soul the day he met her.

She is one of the most natural actresses and I love her performance as Ying Tao. She combines this bubbly happy personality with one of strength, courage, loyalty, and backbone. She is a delight to watch.

I don’t know what happened outside the drama. I have seen the comments and just want to watch the drama. I don’t know how accurate the details are or if someone is seeing too much into it. I just want to enjoy the drama with the other drama.

Both Mai Mai and ZLH are outstanding actors. I enjoy watching them even if one of them is not in the scene. Our Generation has been captivating and I am enjoying it.

There are similarities. Both show the leads as children and the bonds and friendship between them and their families. There is the crazy mother similarity also. I love OG much more. The romance is believable. Go Ahead was much longer and the leads were separated for a time when the ML went abroad with his crazy mother. The leads are separated in OG for a time also but without the crazy mother in the picture and it is not done yet so I don't know what happened to the ML during that time. I am enjoying OG and will rewatch. There is depth in OG so you will need to listen to the dialogue and watch it carefully. This is my perception so you should just try it yourself.

I skipped the grandpa scenes and I figured the HK arc was due to the director's dramatic license. During that time Sang Yan traveled to places looking for YiFan. I felt it was a technique used to show us the details of YiFan's past through Sang Yan's eyes. Since I skipped the grandpa scenes, I cannot comment on his purpose but perhaps there was common theme or correlation that the director wanted to make. I only read parts of the book so far, but I was aware the second couple was added. I didn't have the patience to watch them as I wanted to get to the leads quickly so I skipped them. Otherwise, I loved TFF!

I could feel everything you explained watching this scene! Well said. I also thought about Yu Qiao acting and I will not be surprised to see him in a leading role one day. Funny we were having the same thoughts watching. I have said it before and I will say it again. I really like Yu Qiao and I want to see him with a happy ending and not just walking off alone once he sees that Cherry is happy and safe.

Why do I feel as if I watched this in the drama? I read the lines but I feel as if I have seen this. Maybe not in the exact words but...I read it and wondered what as missing from the drama. Maybe the feeling I got watching the scene is the same I got reading the lines.

That made the first kiss so real! He looked like an awkward teenager. What I found funny was when Cherry asked him if he had little fang teeth 😂 That prodded him to kiss her back.

Cherry's personality is to face her problems and she does not give up. I loved it when she stood up to Xiaoman, who tried to bully her. Cherry was not going to be made to feel as if she was doing something wrong by being friends with JQX. And she even faced his mother. She has known JQX since childhood, and she is not going to back off until she finds out why he left. She knows how much he needed her in his life before, and she is going to find him. I have seen comments saying she is too obsessed or one even said boy crazy, but when I think of it, it is JQX who needed her the most. When he wrote "hero" on the window, I felt he was saying she saved him. Without her, who would have made him feel he was special just for being himself?

Sometimes those accounts have one drama....OG! I laugh when I see they try to doctor their lists after I mentioned the new accounts with one drama rated low.

I have seen comments with no response then they go and make another comment at the top looking for someone to bite. Multi account users responding to themselves no doubt...New accounts with only OG in the list but one of them deleted OG and added in 2 other dramas as if.. .Users leaving the worse reviews with ratings of 1 telling people not to watch but can't seem to leave. They just keep leaving the same negative comments. Not to mention the long posts that are supposed to be taken from an online source and one with some bizarre analysis of the FL that made me feel as if I was in the Twilight Zone. It is as if they want to prove that OG is a flop and others hate it.

There are many who like OG. They are just choosing not to be in the forum. Some of my drama buddies are watching but staying away from the chat. They said they enjoy the drama better 😂

When you consider the mental abuse his mother put him through growing up, it is not surprising he wants to know that one person will remember him for who he is and not just a substitute for his brother.
