I found your post interesting as I am not clear on if anything was deleted. I would have preferred to see the details you mentioned. However,I sensed there is more to JQX’s actions and I could see his pain. Therefore, I don’t find him hateful which is what I was trying to explain. Your original post seemed neutral so I didn’t realize you were so upset over the deleted scenes. I otherwise I would not have responded. I can simply post my love for OG elsewhere. And I do love it. I love the characters and production.

I thought my response to her was friendly. I found the information she shared interesting about the differences in the novel, I was just offering my view. I didn’t realize she was so upset about the changes. While I can understand the disappointment that comes from unfulfilled expectations, I know I was moved by ep 15.

I wish people would look deeply into JQX's character and not bash him for kissing her and leaving. Even with deleted scenes, I still got the feeling he loves her and that something was going on for him to leave her. Did you notice it was Ying Tao who asked him if he was staying in a way that said she wanted him to stay? I feel he went along with it to make her happy even for that moment and he wanted to believe it himself. The hate thrown at him by viewers is due to lack of understanding of his character but some viewers are so quick to judge. One even dropped OG and wrote a review with a rating of 1. Her review was so hateful toward JQX.

I think a part of her knew something was wrong but she wanted so much to believe he was staying. He saw her desperation and perhaps his own longing made him pretend he was staying. It broke my heart what he must have felt. It was in the way he said I love you. My heart stopped just watched the emotions in his face and the way he seemed to pull that love right out from deepest part of his soul.

Too many are upset with JQX to appreciate the beauty of that scenes. It makes me sad to see the negative comments. There is so much symbolism in that scene.

Of the 17 reviews written there are about 6 of them with low ratings from 1 to 6.5. I think most of us who are still watching and love it have not written reviews yet or even rated it. I try to wait but I rate earlier if I feel a great love for the drama and the rating can always be changed by the end.

We are close to the end. A part of me doesn't want it to end. I love watching the friends too. And I love the parents of the group with the exception of JQX's mother ☹️

I usually watch romance but Reset is one that has a mild...very mild romance that I rewatch. I wasn't sure if I was going to watch this one but I will give it a try later for BJT!

I hope they pack the last 8 episodes with satisfying scenes. I loved ep 15 so I am hopeful. I felt their emotions.

I would say it started in ep 15 once she graduated 🤭💞💋 I bet they change his hairstyle. The hat in ep 15 was the transition 😂

Do you think JQX minds her attention? Did you not see the smile on his face when she showed up at his high school. His mother treated him as a substitute son. He was not allowed to be himself. Along comes Ying Tao who made him feel special and yelled his name out as something special and meaningful. Ying Tao will help even someone who wants to hurt her. She is a "hero" in his eyes. I don't know how you see "stalker" in her character when she is his light and his heart.

Stick with Kdramas. I tried recommending TFF to my aunt but she insists she likes Kdramas while I gave up on them after a series of let downs 😂 There is no Kdrama that makes me rewatch obsessively the way my favorite Cdramas such as TFF do. It is just not to your taste. If you like action, try Reset as it is only 16 episodes i think. It has the same actor as TFF.

I watched TFF obsessively while it was airing and after. I watched the bts and BJT singing Willful multiple times. I watched a few dramas after and nothing made me as obsessed till the one I am watching now. But I will always come back to TFF. There are few dramas I will have on my special forever rewatch list and this includes TFF.
