It was heartbreaking to watch him knowing his heart was aching. I know some are not happy with him because he didn't tell her the truth but I think he feels so deeply and maybe he didn't them to part that way. He wanted to see her happy before he left. There is no doubt that he loves her.

That was so touching. But I knew Ying Tao would adjust and take charge. She is such a strong character.

When I rewatch i will pick up more. I love to rewatch my favorite dramas because I find I pick up on more.

1. JQX's black hat made him look more adult. Goodbye high school styling!
2. The confession! While Ying Tao said "Wo xi huan ni ( like you)," JQX said "Wo ai ni ( I love you)."
3. Amazing acting. Ling He made me feel his character's struggle and desperation. Jin Mai showed Ying Tao's happiness thinking JQX was going to stay but I could also see there was some sense in her that something was off with him.
4. The first kiss! Of course this only happens after graduating from high school as China does not condone dating in high school. The look on JQX's face when Jing Tao kissed him made me smile. And then he kissed her back. The leads have taken a step forward!
5. Without seeing the rest, I feel this is the turning point for them. The next time they meet, they will be adults ready to resolve the conflicts.

I could go on but just want to say I saw some good things in ep 15.

I think ep 16 was meant to show Ying Tao adjusting to life in college. Jin Mai tends to keep me interested. She brings the screen to life, so I wasn't bored. But I get you. And I agree about ep 1-15💗 Every episode had something. And as the drama progressed the story unfolded. I hope it wraps up well too.

I don't remember him but apparently, when they were children, he left and she cried and now had forgotten him. I am not sure which one of the friends invited him, but I will see when I rewatch. The idea was to show her that she will forget JQX. But of course, she knows she will not.

I figured some details were not added. I will read the novel after. This reminds of TPR. I loved it so much so I stopped reading the comments that only mentioned hating SRQ. I would just scroll by.

I watched TBT and liked it but it didn't make me want to watch it over and over the way this one does. I didn't like some of the storyline but I still enjoyed it. And I love ZLH. I don't watch all his dramas because I love him. I feel his character in OG is deep, and I can feel his love for Ying Tao. I love it. You don't have to love it. But I am shocked at the 1 you rated it.

If you loved TBT so much, why is it not on your list? I am frankly puzzled OG is the only drama on your watchlist. Nothing else but OG with a rating of 1.
