I wrote longer response and it disappeared just as I was about to post.

Anyway, to make it short. I loved the emotions and the performances of Ling He and Mai Mai in that scene where he wears a black hat. You will see the emotions on his face as he obviously struggled with what he had to do. Both Ling He and Jin Mai were excellent. Just watch!

You must really hate this to leave it a rating of 1 in your review. OG must be special to be the only drama on your watchlist since you made your account. I don't get how anyone can rate a drama 1. I am not saying people have to love a drama but there is so much good in drama evenif you don't like the storyline. The friendship between the main group and the families and all the support they give each other is beautiful to see. There are some excellent quotes. And more positives. As I said, I don't expect that you must love it but how can anyone give a 1?

I haven't read the novel so I didn't have anything to compare as I watched. Maybe that is why I thought that scene was amazing. The way JQX said he loved her with that look of pain. I could see he was struggling with himself. And the way he told her not to forget him.It was all so amazingly done. Both Ling He and Mai Mai were amazing. I am going to read the book because I love this so much!

I loved their chemistry in TPR and they do not disappoint in OG 💗

Deeply! I love OG so much. Every episode has it a crucial point. Episode 15 feels like the turning point.

I didn't think of that but you are right! I was too into watching Ling He perform. He was amazing. I could see the struggle within him as well as such love for Ying Tao.

I felt so deeply touched when he told her he loved her. I could see his pain knowing he had to leave her. I think there was a part of him in denial that he had to leave her and he wanted to believe he was staying. He is a deep character. I was so amazed at Ling He's performance as he struggled within himself that I didn't feel frustrated. I am off to watch ep 16 and hope I am not the one to be frustrated 😂 And Mai Mai's performance was amazing as well. You could see this was a turning point for Ying Tao.

OG has been unfolding with each episode. I don't feel anything missing. It hits the spot each time especially after watching ep 15.

I am surprised at the comments about ep 15. I was so emotional watching. I thought it was amazingly done. It had me sitting up and alert. Now I am staying up to watch ep 16.

I was half asleep when I watched the first part of ep 15 and almost turned off Netflix so that I could wait till the morning. But that scene woke me up. If you watched it, you know what I mean. ZLH knows how to look at someone with intense love in his eyes 💗

Keep watching. You will see. His genius brain has it figured out. The mom needs a psychiatrist.

That is exactly how I see it. I love the friendship. Ying Tao pulls all the friends together. And they are all so loyal to each. I love it!

Exactly! But Ying Tao is such a good friend who will not give up helping her.

Jin Mai is a gifted actress. And ZLH knows how to emote with facial expressions. He was so adorable acting shy when he was watching Cherry cheerlead. I had to laugh at the expression on his face when he had one eye closed and peeking out of the other 😂

Because in China the teacher will contact parents for any of these matters. Also dating in high school is not allowed or frowned on so they will call parents if they think students are getting too close in that area.

I loved that but you could she felt awkward 😂

I loved it. Ying Tao is so bubbly and adorable.
