hidden love is more fluffy. this one is darker i guess. but im only few episodes in so can change.
Hidden Love was a lot of sweetness but when you think about Jiaxu's past and the way he worked while in college to pay expenses and to pay off his family's debt to the stalker girl, it has a darker side. Jiaxu lost both parents.
There are some similarities such as the Sang siblings. The FL's story makes it heavier even though Jiaxu also…
Exactly. Some think HL is just a light fluffy drama but there is emotional depth. I cried for Jiaxu and loved Sang Zhi for being his strength when he needed it. It is no wonder he loved her so much.
To the person or people trying to downrate this, it is obvious when you rate all 32 episodes when only a few episodes were out. I guess some who love this are trying to counteract by rating also. I just wait for the episodes to be out before I rate. If we all go into "EPISODE GUIDE" at the top and rate, it would be great! https://mydramalist.com/722171-first-frost/episodes
I think there are 4 people who rated episode 32 a 1 and 14 tried to counteract with 10s. It makes sense if someone wanted to lower ratings they would give it a 1. The average rating for ep 32 is 8 with 18 users. I am just doing this out of curiosity 🤣
if Sang Yan had been this hot in Hidden Love i think i would've actually liked him LOL
I thought I read a comment like this before I went for a walk about an hour ago. It is funny that I come back one hour later to see the same comments. BJT! I love him too!
😂 The funny thing, my cousin told me she loved him a long time ago and at the time I didn't think he was so handsome. However, there was something I loved about him and I think it is the way his smile goes to his eye and the intensity of his expression when he plays a commanding role. He has such passion. But the more I looked at him, the more I found him so good looking and now...OMG! My cousin has a better eye than I do because I see it so clearly now. He is perfect!
There are certain angles he reminds me of ZLH. I don't know if I can watch both at the same time. This Best Thing…
I looked as soon as I saw your comment and did not see Netflix 😪 There are several dramas I could watch on IQiyi so I will just have to wait a bit then sign up.
Guys since this is a spin off of hidden love, does it have the same vibes? (i don't mean the story)
There are some similarities such as the Sang siblings. The FL's story makes it heavier even though Jiaxu also had his problems. I feel some of the same vibes at times but then it is also different. There is a deep sense of love which is in both. I guess it depends on what you see.
only a few episodes in but im hooked. hoping this is as good as hidden love. btw bai jingting looks so much like…
There are certain angles he reminds me of ZLH. I don't know if I can watch both at the same time. This Best Thing comes out in a few days. Should I just savor BJT first and wait for TBT? 🤔
It looks like it’s all him in that “reenactment” ep 10 scene. Dude has been putting in the work. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DGYYo-QPBG6/?igsh=MW54cnVuZjVoMnB5dA==
Yes it is! Keep sharing! I admit to watching it several times since I first saw it. I might just add it to my profile!
big fan of sang Yan’s character over djx! (not the actors, both are excellent in their own right) just talking…
Sang Yan and Sang Zhi as siblings come from a happy home. Yi Fan and Jiaxu were not that lucky and both needed healing. Sang Yan helps Yi Fan heal. Sang Zhi helps Jiaxu heal.
Like Yi Fan, Jiaxu did not feel worthy because he had been ostracized for his father's sins. Sang Zhi made him feel he was worth loving.
Yi Fan also doesn't feel she deserves anything good as a result of her family making her feel unwanted and of course the emotional and physical abuse. And Sang Yan helps her heal.
Circumstances are different in the Sang Zhi was younger and Jiaxu felt protective. The irony is that she in fact helped him. She defended him and wouldn't let anyone bully him. She gave him the love he needed.
I don't know if I could possibly love Sang Yan more than I do right now. He is perfect.
But I also love Jiaxu for many reasons that those who watched HL and loved it will know. His character went through such hardships that no one that young should have experienced. He carried the burden of taking care of a sick mother and father as well as paying off the obligation his family had to the Jiang girl. And yet he had a beautiful and kind heart.
I could go on... just wanted to share. But I get what you mean about Sang Yan. I find him perfect right now and I understand why he goes about giving Yi Fan things the way he does. People are saying he is not being straightforward. I think he is practicing restraint and allowing Yi Fan to guide his pace.

This must be the most reposted clip! I keep seeing it! Not that I mind 😉 Thank you!
Great character analysis. I look at her as someone who has locked up her emotions to survive. I can see her starting…
There are a few comments below from people who feel Yi Fan is selfish, but I am not sure if it is from here or from posts elsewhere that some are seeing hate against Yi Fan. I think maybe some of the comments are misunderstood in just wanting Yi Fan to start showing some concern for Sang Yan. It will happen as I am seeing little things she does. She just needs to come out of the barriers she built around herself. She went through trauma. I feel bad for Sang Yan, so I can understand others who feel empathy for him. The drama is slowing revealing the truths. We all need to be patient. I am sure the writer knows we need a bit of this and that here and there 😂 It does get frustrating when things get one sided but I don't think this will be the case in this drama.

I think you must TFF is on Netflix. I will probably buy a one month subscription to IQiyi.
