Well said! I was shocked at the labels placed on PM after the first few episodes. I wondered if I fell asleep while watching and missed something that caused people to bash the ML. I have been feeling Shakespeare since the first episode! The second sister brought The Taming of the Shrew to mind except Petruchio was nowhere as timid as her husband.

Don't read the negative comments. They are mood killers. Just focus on the main couple. Zhang Ling He's performance as Pei Wen Xuan was amazing. You will see a more commanding side to him at times.

Everything you said....100% I doubt I will rewatch this but the little treasures I found watching it the first time makes it worth the watch.
