I am going to wait because after watching only 2 eps I already like the ML so much.

Thank you for this. I came in looking for this information after watching 2 episodes. I will wait till this ends before continuing. I really hope for a HE. They have taken happy endings and turned them into open or tragic endings in dramas. It might be too much to hope they will take a tragic ending and make it happy. I could already feel a tragic ending after watching the first 2 episodes.

I have only watched two episodes and want to continue but I sense a tragic ending. What happened in the book? I rather avoid watching something that will have tragic or even open ending but this looks to be so beautifully done concerning the relationship.

Edited: Nevermind. I got the answer further down. I think I will wait for the drama to end.

Beautiful review! I also felt Shakespeare vibes. I hope viewers realize the comedy has underlying messages. The characters are well-developed each with their unique traits. The brother-in-law alliance is strong and made of men with a sense of justice even as they kneel to their wives 🤣

Let's hope it is already back. I find myself fascinated by his transition from cold to loving husband. I feel the reason is holding back is because of what happened to his little sister. That was so sad. I wish they had not used a little girl for this.

The comedy and exaggeration combined with irony give me strong Shakepeare vibes 💗 I have seen people criticize the mother but you can see her behavior is exaggerated for comedy and to address social issues but then there are times her thoughts are shown to be admirable. I have come to love this drama more everyday. I am waiting to see where it is going but obviously the themes are centered around the roles and status of women.

I don't know what happened to the rating. Either people misunderstood the direction of this drama and slapped "unredeemable males" tag to it or they wanted for some reason to push this down. I have not rated it yet but half way through I am loving it more and more especially as we got more of WXY today with his hair down! I love that look! I am tempted to just put in my rating now as I am pretty sure I am going to watch this again. I have already gone back to watch from ep 1.

We all said that. It is not the vibe of this drama to kill off any of the leads. And I believe WXY said it was a fake in one of his interviews.

I wonder if he memory came back at the end when we saw him grimace as if there was a pain in his head.

The fake death in the coffin scene was classic Shakespeare!

I was happy to see it resolved today.

I was hooked in the first 5 mins. I watched 2 episodes but considering the volunteer work of the ML, I am not sure about the ending. There is sense of danger. I might wait till it ends to watch more. It is so good though!

I think the mini dramas do not go through censorship the way the others do. If you see another fun drama like this let me know! Maybe it is a Ryan Ren trademark!

I feel the same. The laughter was so good to have instead of angst.

I think the criticisms were deliberate to downplay this drama. But for those who cried "misogynistic" they failed to see where the drama was going. With today's episode where Dowager Empress had a say in favor or women, Perfect Match is more a social outcry against the prejudices of women. And look who supports these woman. None other than the men some labeled "unredeemable."
