Glad I did not read the early reviews and decided to watch anyway for LYX, am enjoying it and have caught up.…
Glad you didn't read those reviews. I just wrote one to counter those negative reviews. I usually wait till the end but after I read the lies in those reviews, I decided to post and ongoing review.
I realize the comments in some of the reviews are incorrect. I am not sure if those reviewers simply misunderstood…
I started out thinking it was a light fun drama. It was a nice change from the angst from The Blossoming Love. While the tone of the drama continues to be one of humor, I started to get Shakespeare vibes the same as Regina de Sá noted in her review. The second sister brought to mind one of my favorite Shakespearean drama, The Taming of the Shrew. The words and actions of the characters have great significance even those that come off as comedy. I am not sure if the drama mocks the status of women as inferior to men in society when clearly the women have their husbands kneeling, or it is simply a portrayal of politics and society. Either way, I find Perfect Match entertaining and I will be rewatching it in the future.
I have actually reported it as untruthful and misleading, but nothing happened.
I did the same. I think more people need to report. You can also report it multiple times. I try not to comment on those negative reviews as it bumps it up as helpful in the rankings.
I only wanted those looking to see if the drama is for them to be aware that the negative reviews reported events in the drama that they misunderstood. One of the reviews even talked about a scene it in the preview where it appears Shuohua's husband beat her to the point of bleeding. Why would someone write a long review after only watching the 4 episodes?
You are right. I wake up in the morning to check Netflix for the next episode. Now that we have come to know the characters better, We will miss them when it ends.
I can understand that she annoys you but how is "extremely detestable?" I hope she will cut down on the crying…
I agree about the crying part. It is a bit much. I am not sure about her age but I think the youngest is 17. I do hope she stops crying. Otherwise the sisters all love each other and they are not sabotaging each other they way they do in some dramas. I bet there will be some growth.
Indeed, it's unlike you to write reviews on ongoing dramas, but I guess you loved this one a lot, enough to make…
I wrote it because the negative reviews that people wrote right after this drama started has incorrect information. Nobody cheated or abused their wives. There seem to be a movement to tag "misogynistic male leads " to Perfect Match.
This drama is in my watchlist but I haven't started it yet. Thanks for making clarifications in your review! It's…
I realize the comments in some of the reviews are incorrect. I am not sure if those reviewers simply misunderstood or purposely trying to deter people from watching. The ML is not a sociopath. Thank you for reading!
