I was afraid to watch One and Only so I watched Forever and Ever first. Afterwards I wanted to know more about the couple so I watched One and Only. Even know how it ended before hand left me so devastated for days. I loved the ML. He was the perfect hero. I was screaming at him to be selfish for once. But I was glad I watched it because I went right back to Forever and Ever and rewatched it and there were so many significant aspects that I did not notice before. The FL's name was Shi Yi which is 11 in Chinese. She was the 11th disciple. Did you notice in Forever and Ever that the ML's best friend who was the attorney also fell in love with Shi Yi? He told her that he always looks out for the ML and perhaps he owes him something from his past life. He was the reincarnation of the Crowned Prince who had him dismembered. And there is more. That show is so deep.

I found the ML quite attractive as he contemplated the situation while he waited for her to communicate with him about her real feelings. I was busy watching him so maybe that is why Shu Yi didn't bother me so much expect for the time she went to his office and he could have used a hug right there but she was feeling too guilty to face him about their relationship.

Whenever I recommend One and Only to anyone, I feel guilty because I know how it left me devastated and I watched it after I already saw Forever and Ever.
I went around looking to see what I should watch next and I noticed OFL has been mentioned in a few of the groups as a drama they do not want to see repeated. Then why was I smiling through much of it and even liked the other couples? Dylan Wang's performance was delightful. And I didn't mind the FL as much as some did because I could see she really only loved Shi Yan. And of course, I couldn't help myself by saying well I actually enjoyed OFL. For that, I got the usual "Good for you. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion" response.

Thank you. OFL was delightful. Loved Dylan Wang's performance as the cold CEO in love. I haven't seen this yet but I cannot imagine another show like OFL. I would be so lucky. I am still waiting for it to come on on Viki just so I can check it out because I am planning on watching The Story of Kunning Palace first. Bai Lu was great in OFL.

Yes the plot was good but the FL had this white pasty face and she kept frowning and twisting her lips. The cast doesn’t have to be popular but visuals help. I almost dropped it but the plot kept me going. I said I would never watch her again but going to give it a try. Only on ep 3 and so far not hooked. I have read the comments that Xu Kai is amazing in this. And knowing it has a happy ending is a plus also.
