Episode 30 is my favourite so far everything about it is beautiful
The admiration on Nan Chu's face as she looked at her hero and his team. Heartwarming moment. Now we need to get ready for the hurdle our sweet couple must face.
I finished ep 29 and it is moving along quite fast. I am dreading the next couple of episodes because everything is going so well but I feel that something terrible is coming up. Let's all hold hands.
No one thinks he is a bad guy we know he is good, his methods are good but his approaches were never right regardless…
Exactly! He had to learn from our ML about how to approach the team and the team had be more accepting of the new director. It went both ways. But there are some on here who really dislike his character. I understand the emotions but hearing out ML validate my thoughts was pleasing to me.
I know we all cannot help the way we feel about certain characters. But I feel Ming Zhi is misunderstood by many. At the beginning of ep 29, Lu Xiao speaks up for him and he says exactly the way I feel about Ming Zhi. Ming Zhi is not a bad guy.
Who is Liu Jian Yu and who is he playing in this show??
I am just starting ep 29 and in a dream she is calling out to someone with the last name Li. I will keep watching. It could be a translation error. edited: Nevermind.
I am not clear on what you meant when you said "changing the main role of the woman."
I get what you mean. The scene where she pulled the curtain before nursing the baby and blocked the ML's view was so annoying. This actress tends to act awkward in intimate scenes. I don't know if it is just her style or she is in character. But this "in character" seems to me her norm. Jing Boran was great in the intimate scenes. There are some actors and actresses that look comfortable and natural in these scenes but Seven is not one of them. Not to me anyways.
The first time I saw her in Moonlight, I thought her voice was so childlish and I didn't finish it till weeks later. Then I saw her Love Between Fairy and the Devil and loved the show and the main leads. Then I saw Romance of the Little Forest and loved her personality which was between being quirky and funny at times and serious when she talked about birds and nature. And I also loved Bin Bin. Many times he looked as if he wanted to laugh at how funny she was but I am not sure if it was acting or for real because she was so funny.
I am learning not to trust ratings on here. I am watching Bright Eyes in the Dark and loving it yet the rating…
I know exactly what you mean! I checked out your watchlist and noticed you and I have a love for HL in common and not so much for the "other." It was ridiculous the "war" that went on over it.
LMY did not do anything against the rules. He chose to remove himself. I have said since day 1 that he is not…
That's fine as it is your opinion.
I see good in him and he is not wrong in teaching the use of technology and expecting the team to improve. He now realizes that the team bond is also important. Every time the ML pointed out something to him, he conceded. I hope he stays and works with LX because they will make a great team. My opinion. I am going to stop here.
Lou is actually good at his job. That wasn't a small fire, but he lead the team by giving orders calmly, assessing…
Exactly! Once the team accepts him as one of them, there will be a difference. They are going to be more open to what he is trying to teach them. I think they are starting to see him as one of them. He has a history with Yang and LX.

He was not wrong. Technology when used correctly can help reduce the risks for firefighters and citizens. The team resisted him because they were still adjusting the change of leadership. He has a good heart. I hope he stays. And he did take responsibility.
I am learning not to trust ratings on here. I am watching Bright Eyes in the Dark and loving it yet the rating is at 7.9. I will admit that the first 6 or 7 episodes are slow as they seem to deal with more background information. I stuck with it because of Zhang Ying Yi from Lighter and Princess. I love this actress because she is so natural with her costars. And sure enough, she is amazing here too. I am waiting for Destined With You to be all out before I start watching.
I don't understand their attitude towards Lou Ming Ye, especially considering what was shown in the first part…
LMY did not do anything against the rules. He chose to remove himself. I have said since day 1 that he is not a bad guy. He is trying to reduce casualties with use of technology and more training. He is not all bad. He does have a point when he said they need improving but he did not boost morale. As you can see from flashbacks that he was friends with Lu Xiao and Lu Xiao does like him and does believe he has a good heart.
Edited: Finished ep 30. Whew! Beautiful ending to a nerve-racking scene.
The previews for 31 and 32 are not looking good for our couple.
