true but I would have back way off when she rejected me cause both personas are his 😂.
right, the moment he asked..."so you don't think I'm a good person?" and she side-stepped that like, "well, who can say if a person in your role is good or bad?" BOYYYYYYY who can say??? oh she is not feeling you. You went to The Evil Bureau to ask for that Evilly Detained friend of hers to be released. Which only occurred cause they were scared of you. Cause you're the big boss. of The Evil Bureau. 🙃 ...... give it up. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mid ep 5 and I totally get why FL is attracted to Mask Guy instead of his every day persona. Her only skills are martial arts and she's been living in seclusion. Her first or second choice in a romantic partner is never going to be a politician. Especially not the leader of an alliance with corrupt members, who is planning slow change behind the scenes.🫠
Because the plots of the different Fox Spirit Matchmakers are chained together, the basic fate of the main couple can't be considered a spoiler imo. That would be like watching S2 of a show and considering the plot of S1 to be spoilers for S2 😆
Bad ending for the leads. FL dies after she gives birth to her son.
They can't/won't change the charcters' fate because this actually happens BEFORE Red Moon Pact that aired last year... their fate was already exposed if you watched the first Fox Spirit Matchmaker that aired. This is basically a prequel.
The gay best friend and the nephew delivering good performances, good comedic timing really helps sell the drama. It's not just sexy with great romantic tension between the couple, but I'm enjoying the while cast. I'm having such a fun time watching it, clapping my hands and laughing. 99% of republican dramas (short or long) are tense and angsty but 11 episodes in, this one seens to have a warm heart - it doesn't take itself too seriously.
I agree, but he only feels bad because it is now affecting him. He still wouldn't give a shit if it wasn't Mi…
The optimistic view would be that this was a breakthrough event for him and he now sees the ramifications. And now he behave more ethically in the future because his perspective has widened. Of course, need to see if the writers land this properly in the finale. My judgement on the drama will hinge a LOT on the finale tbh.
I think I might in the minority for liking this drama much MORE for allowing the ML to have 100% done wrong in the past, and it's not a misunderstanding or people simply not telling each other stuff and withholding info for not reason. I really dislike breakups in my dramas based on not speaking up and allowing dumb misunderstandings. Or just bowing to selfish friends or relatives.
It's not a reveal that oh, the FL should have trusted him and believed in him because he's a misunderstood deserving rich guy who works so hard. (cue the smallest violin)
It might sound odd to other viewers, but I appreciate that it's a real conflict based on real things that happened, and the corporate boss guy DID do wrong and he SHOULD feel bad, so he does.
Ah they made ML read a book, pass time with his friend while FL was miserable and pathetic missing him, wish he…
I guess though if he's begging to be forgiven and thinks he can just apologize and move on, then does he truly understand the gravity of what he did?
Begging and pestering her could be seen as pressuring her to forgive him... saying that what he did is forgivable. It's the inverse of her telling him, no I'm not just going to shout at you and be mean about it. This isn't something you just get scolded over.
Atp If Kise had said sorry at that time, FL would have forgiven him too. Anyone tell me can you forgive ML like…
I could forgive the person if I believe they truly understand why they were wrong and have changed, wouldn't act that way again. People DO grow and change. But I'd need to deeply believe that.
Seriously here people can be delusional. Some are claiming FL is a doormat and she is cheating on ML as she talks…
fr I think I'd feel empathy for any of my exes who lost a parent. and if I dated someone for years then I probably CARED about their parents. So it's normal to go to a funeral, have some basic compassion.
A country with crashing birthrates and still pumping out this feminist garbo, talk about self sabotage. Cdramas…
OK so you are actually aware that romance costume dramas are only 1 segment of Chinese TV... right?! There are tons of male viewers of Chinese dramas and tons of shows that are male-centric. This is like thinking America only makes female-centered programming because Brigerton is popular on Netflix.
Her attitude about being fired (the upfront way) actually plays well to me because I personally have known execs…
This company is definitely toxic so I feel like it'll be better in the long run for FL to work somewhere unaffiliated. tbh I'd like to see the ML resign and start fresh. He should have to find a new director position somewhere else and then bring her into the new company. The only justification of a 2 year kdrama separation that I'll accept! 🙃
I just finished episode 10, and I mostly like this drama. But what bothered me first was the little girl scenes.…
Her attitude about being fired (the upfront way) actually plays well to me because I personally have known execs who are good friends out of the office (in "real life") but 1 has fired the other for standard business reasons. And they are still close friends years later. LMAO I know someone who twice fired a close friend. (twice because after firing them 7 years ago, hired them at a different job and then later fired them AGAIN 🫠).
The truth is, once you've been a professional for 10+ yrs some people find themselves able to consider this stuff Just Business. So, as long as it's not underhanded, then you don't need to bring the conflict into your personal life. Yes negative emotions happen and no one likes to be fired. But you try to process those emotions and separate it. Because getting your job cut is a thing that happens to a lot of workers. Her fighting to stay positive and not let it mess with her head too much and ruin a relationship is actually pretty healthy imo. Jobs are replaceable but people aren't.
It makes sense to me that FL was feeling optimistic that she'll look forward and figure her career out, but love is pretty great! That's why it hurts so much to see her take another blow here.
It's not surprising that Baek-ho did what he did. Since the beginning we saw that he was a heartless guy who just…
I think the key is demonstrating to the audience that he really did grow and change, so that he now seems like someone who you could trust with others' feelings.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
