About the last 2 episodes, I feel like they won't drag the QD's pregnancy storyline for long and might kill her…
That would be the best . QD and Choi Sang Rok last twist with that pregnancy almost made me think that they could have a future in a spinoff. Enought is enought.
QD acts like she is innocent but she is the reason behin all this mess :O

I hope this last twist will not give them an excuse to mess with the lead couple and the king.....again.

I would like the King to survive though. He suffered enough. But I guess you are right.
In this case he could easily marry lady Myung Yoon and have his happily ever after. Noboby would make a fuss.

But if ever the king abdicates the dowager's in laws could comeback to the palace... I was wondering if the vilain couple( Choi Sang Rok and Queen Dowager) would try to makeup with the former king's family in the last 2 episodes?
