How would it be much worse?
CarolalvaFranc This is off topic. This discussion is not about BL, it is about Sasseang fan. Please refrain from starting unwanted controversy in this discussion.
Using the BL example to emphasize the craziness of stalker was ok, you people are trying to shift the topic. Please stop.

I haven't watched the drama yet, but from your comment I can tell that slowburn romance are not your cup of tea.…
Totally agree. I also like to binge-watch dramas and like you I choose the format depending on my mood and the time I can spend watching the show.

As much as I appreciate watching dramas as they air. the wait sometimes is very frustrating. Especially for the good ones. So I quench my thirst watching something else while I wait for the new release.

I decided to commit an watch a 100 episodes drama because i would like to see good writing and no rushed ending.
I thought that with more time the writers will do a good job.
I accept that premise at face value. Hoping I will love the drama.

As for the slow burn romance. One of my all time favourite is "The red Sleeve" and trust me it take a long time for the main couple to be together. But the glares and the push and pull are golden.
If you watched it, (without spoilers) the way she accepts the king's love is so subtl but it made me scream when I saw this moment. So no, definitely, I love it when the plot takes its time to develop a great romance.

That goes to "The Brave Yong Su Jeong"120 episodes ends with Every single member of FL family diesFL step dad…
Spoiler tag please.
I can't believe they kept people before a screen for 120 episodes and did all this to the characters. Oh no.
I will not loose my time to end up depressed after watching this drama. thank you :)

Well, you can’t really compare the pacing of an 8-episode drama to a 30-episode one. What do you expect—wrap…
It is great that they take the time to set the story properly. I think that this is a great drama. I will watch it.

They’re taking it nowhere. I mean, why haven’t the main leads met yet? I’m on episode 6 bte. If there’s…
I haven't watched the drama yet, but from your comment I can tell that slowburn romance are not your cup of tea. And that's fine.
I recently start watching a 100 episodes drama for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised to see the story take its time to be set properly without being rushed to the first meeting and the first spark between the leads.

Nowaday people like to go fast. But fast doesn't necessarily means good. I am not a fan of wattpad type of plot in which the leads are thrown to one another at every episode.
Like you I have watched short dramas with great romance plots.
But from my experience, for most of the 24 or 30 episodes dramas, the first release is about 6 or 8 episodes in one strike. Then the rest of the episodes are aired gradually.
This means to me, that the exposition scenes are those 6 or 8 episodes.
So, can you judge the pacing of a story only by watching the exposition scenes?

Personally, I would say no.
This is why despite knowing that for the 6 first episodes, the Leads have not started the romance yet. I am still interested in watching the drama.

But this is a matter of taste. Slowburn romance are among my favourites. So I can appreciate the wait.

Review Secret Garden
This drama is the blue print for all the gender swaping drama that came after it. They all copied some part of it.

Did not understand any background story to this article - terribly written.
There is no background stories to tell. It is just a report from his reaction to the release of his new project.
Some people are still shocked by his marital life( divorce : years ago ) and refer to it in the comment section, but this is irrelevent to the subject of this article.

Yeah, this is one of those easy-to-watch, feel-good dramas full of positivity, fun, and teasing. Definitely one…

Agree. I like the lead couple in "The Princess Royal" but I could not stand the harrassment on her part. I had to stop watching on episode 18. She was getting on my last nerve. ML was the cutest and the more helping and she was continuesly harming him while chasing SML. FL annoyed me too much.
But here, ML can retaliate in the sweetest way. And FL's behaviour in the beginning is understandable. So it is very funny and cute.

Agree. For once a playful banter of a couple, full of positivity. Female lead doesn't hit Male Lead and it is very funny and cute from start to finish.

I did not like "The Princess Royale" because Female Lead was mean to Male Lead while bickering with him.
This one is up for a re-watch anytime.

How would it be much worse?
Thanks you for the precision. Yes I know. I googled it. it is about stalking.
Indeed, the main topic remains the bad behaviours from unbalanced people. Not the type of media or the genre. They cannot avoid to be targetted because those stalkers are mentally impaired. But if they had more security, those people could not reach them.

Title When the Phone Rings Spoiler
Novel spoilers ahead. In the novel at least, it seemed like the fisherman was a somewhat harsh man. From chapter…
Ok thank you for the novel spoiler.

I felt In Ha's importance in the story as the custodian of the ultimate secret about real Sa Eon could be a threat to the secret of HeeJoo thus the position of Female Lead ( if I take in account the importance of her character in the mistery, not the screen time ). Thinking about it, yes, she could not overshadow Heejoo in the drama because of the romance and the danger HeeJoo was exposed to.
However, she could have had a great significance to the story. This is why I feel that, the writers modified her persona to give HeeJoo more stature. And avoid viewer to label the plot as : " going all over the place".
I know people like to accuse writers for all the short-comings they think exist in a drama.
Everytime a plot is complex, I see people using this mere accusation to vilify the writers.

I understand why they make Hong Yu Jing older in the drama. It is probably because he had to be able to remember the face of real Baek Sa Eon. Being a bady or a toddler(1 to 3 y/o) would have made it unbelievable. So the drama gave him something like 5 y/o. So that he can walk and be more autonomous.

I agree. The writers used In Ha as a substitute of the viewers. She used to appear on the show to summarize the plot and unlock hidden truth as the plots progressed. Writers like to do that . Sometime they use a character to be the storyteller, giving foreshadowing all the time and summerizing the plot as it develops. Regarding In Ha, in the drama she would more likely the one witnessing the intrigue and the only female lead's sidekick who leads the audience to piece together clues.
In Ha is like an Hercule Poirot in Agathe Christie's novel, she meets all the characters interviewing them and she helps HeeJoo decyphering the hidden truth.

As for the mother of fake Sa Eon. Ok , killing her was not neccessary.

Thank you, I missed that a henchman, who fled later to the Filipins, was the real driver. First and foremost, I believed Baek Jang Ho outsourced the killing attempt of the 3 children. Then when I saw that he had the audacity to try to drown his own grand child. I believed he was the one at the wheele on the day of the accident. At it seems, he did not dirty his hand with that car accident.

Steamy scenes ^_<

How would it be much worse?
I don't know those people but killing someone with a gun at his doorstep like they did to John Lennon, is the worst a stalker fan can do to his idole.

I have not read yet about the people you referenced. But a murder is a murder. Murdering a bl/gl actor is not worst than murdering the main singer of "the beattles". To me this is a fake debate.

I am shocked. Poor Saif Ali Khan. It is very frightening if even a Khan is in danger. I hope his wife and kid…
Yes, after commenting on your post. I watched a clip from "hindustan times" and I saw that they caught the culprit on a train toward kolkata. They showed the guy on the staircase of the premises.
Yes it is actually very scary. Luckily Kareena wasn't there. first thing I feared was her being harmed because in my mind I still remember when she was pregnant.
I also read that SAK had a piece of knife (2.5 inches) by his spine. This gives me chills.
I wish the best for them.
From what I heard the police said it was a burglary.
I am very shocked especially because the apartment is in a safe neighbourhood. Even with that and the security staff, this man still made it to SAK's apartment. Unbelievable.
