I'm a sucker for slow burn but this was so unsatisfactory. How could they get together without a talk? their adult life should've been a bit longer. I haven't read the novel so I don't know what should've happened but this feels unfinished. I don't think romance is dependant on physical affection so it wasn't what bothered me. I think them getting together after so long should've gotten so much more weight and it just felt hollow to me.
