Terrible writing. I finished this jeon jong seo

The writing is painful. I'm having to force myself to finish these last couple of episodes. It makes sense one of the writers has never written on a project before. I thought maybe the writing would get better, but then came episode 11 which was so damn bad. Add in the flat acting with it and just takes it all new level of bad. I can't believe they skipped a year and blew past that the son in law killed his wife. Wheres the families reaction to the news it was the son in law? What happened to the reporter? Then they made the secretary the new chairman of the entire company lmao. Did you want to see a-jung get her big break in acting? too bad they did it during the time skip smh. They let do Hans stalker ex off scott free with no punishment for outing do-han to his brother ji-han. What in the heck was that ending?????

Why was the acting so bad? especially from the male lead. if I hadn't seen him in duty after school, I would swear this was his first gig. He barely had any emotion in the biggest scenes. his character was awkward and not in a good way, and the acting was flat. He almost has the same one expression in every scene.

Zero romantic chemistry between the main couple. Zero 0 none at all. at least they had a little chemistry when they were enemies, but after that, it was more like they were brother and sister. The one day get-away vacation was the least romantic getaway I've ever seen in a romantic kdrama. They literally did work in a field. In a way, it could have been cute, but they actually made it look so weird. he gets a small cut and then complains about for the rest of they day lmao. If there's one thing I can't tolerate, it's a weak kiss, and man, this one was WEAK. You only get one, maybe 2, in most kdramas(which has started to change recently. kdramas for some weird reason are getting a lot spicier know and it needs to stop) Make that one kiss count. Throw in some passion.

This show actually starts out interesting but then goes straight downhill. The fake marriage setup isn't even that interesting, and without the flashbacks of her with do-han, I can't even really tell their really friends. We barely got any interesting wedding planning scenes, and the wedding dress try-on was boring as heck. Did the writers have a bet on who could write the most boring scenes? We get no background info on the ex. why did they break up? why is he so mad? Do-han not telling a-jung about him, why? he dyes his hair for no reason, and we get no explanation.

The cafe worker Song sang eun has more chemistry with ji Hans assistant min jin woong than the main couple. they have a cute little romance going on. Their scenes were funny and adorable. The jealous family members hong in and kim ye won were pretty good too, those two together are hilarious. loved watching their scenes. Park ha in is very good in this, she plays her character the best out of everyone. Chae won just takes everything on the chin. I usually hate when the second female lead is a bad person, but in this, I would have loved it.

Jeon jong seo is an incredibly talented actress and so beautiful. idk who chose this script, but man, it was a mistake. The only solace for me is that enough people seem to like it to give it a high rating, so this project doesn't tarnish what's been a great run of projects so far. I've seen other people online agree with me, so I know there are those who will be hesitant to watch her next project, but it looks like it will be an incredibly serious project. So we should be getting a front row seat to the jeon jong seo I've seen in past projects.

I know she probably took this role so people would see her in a happier and fun light, but at what cost. I know she mentioned people seem scared of her due to her past projects, and she wanted to change their minds. She has to ask herself if she cares more about how people perceive her or about choosing projects that utilize her talent.

Incredibly directed, acted and written movie

For me, this is one of those perfect late night vibe movies. Incredible cast where everyone has chemistry and they all work so well together. It was shot in a beautiful town which I heard the director did on purpose. It’s a great story and everyone should watch it. I really loved the flow of the movie and the cinematography. Relationships are explored really well in this movie and I enjoyed how there’s an emphasis on how complicated ones feelings can be. Music was good throughout, but not a lot of it. Story is written well and the director is expert at these types of movies

No seduction just a rapist with power

from the description and trailer i thought this was going to be a movie with great lines, smooth talkers or seduction skills of high levels from both men and women. You get none of those. I lasted about 40 mins before turning off cause all i get was one man who called himself a seducer, but really was just a guy with power he used to rape woman. You can’t call yourself a seducer of woman if they literally have no choice, but to sleep with you.
Main characters idea of seducing:

1. Corner women on street and get rid of her protection, making her uncomfortable.
2. Blackmail ladies servant so you can force yourself alone with lady and just straight out ask her to have sex with you.
3. Give to charity anonymously, but have someone talk about loudly so the lady can overhear how generous you are…

I’m just giving these movie a 5/10 of the lead incredible Jeon De-yeon.

A great show that ended stupidly

i don’t even know where to begin! I’m writing this after watching the finale and i’m kind of mad. This series has been pretty damn good, but the writing in key moments has been hit and miss. I don’t write a lot of reviews, but i’ll stay mad if i don’t put down somewhere.

Let me start with the good first. Casting was damn near perfect. Kang young Wang and Jung So Min were perfect and their chemistry was great. All the second and third leads were cast extremely well too.

Story line and plot was very entertaining and kept me on my seat the whole time. To go 20 episodes and not make me feel bored is not an easy task. I haven’t binged watched a drama this good since another miss oh. So min was so hilarious with the intern and her control over her facial expressions is always amazing. Young Wang is really talented. He handles his roles so well and this was no different.

The bad. The worst thing first. Why in the heck do we waste almost an half an hour of the finale on the evil hospital director??? This man attempted to kill his brother in law, other patients, cover up malpractice, try get numerous doctors licenses suspended and fire people left and right. So why in F**K does he get a send off of cheers out of the hospital??? Stupid writing!!

Second thing. is there no punishment for any of these characters???

Dr Han, malpractice and corruption = no punishment
Dr Yoo. almost kills multiple patients = no punishment
Ja Hyuk - international let’s houses burn down and is responsible for the death of woong sun = no punishment. and will be rich from construction

Third bad thing. Baiting romance of Dr Lee and Dr Jung. I wasn’t sure this show was even going to have romance till a couple episodes in, but they sealed it when they had lee give jung a peck on the cheeks. After that barely anything except division between them 80% of the time. Even in the finale for some weird reason he doesn’t call her, how does that make sense? No kiss at the end, but a hand grab off into the sunset….smh. Tell me how the second leads had a better kiss than main couple smh.

I was really ready to give this kdrama a 9 out of 10 until the last two episodes. Knowing how to end your shows is a true skill that these writers do not possess.

Poor writing and even worse acting

This has an interesting story, but they blew it with the casting choices. the male detective ha, doctor oh and this annoying and unnecessary character played by Kim ji won. The whole that kept me watching was the villain l, but I couldn’t suffer thru anymore.

The writing also atrocious. So many times they went over the same thing or added so many unnecessary things. The lines were so bad and most it didn’t even add to the story. The acting by the doctor was especially bad. I only watched till episode 5 cause that’s all I could take of the writing.

Why would the doctor just believe her patient is at a random bus stop at 12am then let him in her house and tell him a bunch of stuff smh. Monk not going to the doctor why she was at the plaza in a wig and custome? The female cop is just going to let this girl she just met impersonate a cop just to see monk…. The female cop is the one who told monk where the 2nd victims place was, but they never brought that up. The old man by the road literally was screaming a woman was supposed to come pick up the hay but she never came back, isn’t he a witness? Didn’t the other cops hear him? Yes let’s bring a murder suspect and supposed killer to a mental hospital with no mask where there a children around??? Murders start as soon as they release a mental patient from the hospital that’s currently being investigated a the serial killers hideout and no one wants to question him???

Why do writers keep getting away with this terrible writing. 20 episodes of this lmao yeah right

This movie would of been great if they stayed inside the burger joint the entire movie

Not a lot of chemistry between the leads and they weren’t really given the time to build some anyway. It’s like they wanted to fast forward this relationship without any of the actually meaningful conversation. The burger joint looked so awesome, I really wish they would have just shot the whole movie inside of it. They give you the bare minimum in character writing and depth. Not enough writing about the actual characters and what their personalities are like. Not a hint of actual romance between the two so if that’s what you were expecting not the best movie to choose

Started off good, but ended poorly

This kdrama has really great cast and I was super excited to watch, but it ended being so poorly writtten in the second half it was upsetting. Seung Woo saved this kdrama from being unwatchable.

Most of the characters don’t have any depth or look and act the exact same as another character. Other than Mr. Gu and Ms Kang you really don’t feel anyone is exciting or interesting to watch at all. Nothing in the story gets resolved, no one is held accountable and they spent most of second half of the kdrama on the leads brother when the didn’t need to. They tried to make mr. gu the bad guy for most the show, but he’s the only standing up against corrupt, perverted and money hungry doctors.

They wanted me to believe Jim woo was supposed to be the heart of this kdrama? no, he never put his name on anything that he leaked and let other people take the blame and he literally made grieving parents watch their daughter get an autopsy just to get dirt on the hospital.

They tried to throw the main leads together at the end when they left on a weird note they last time they talked. No conclusion for ms kang, no accountability for the doctor who was basically abusing the elderly with unnecessary surgeries, no accountability for the doctor that sexual abusing/being disgusting towards women and nothing had to the chairman who was threatening to murder people. They literally just said screw the story, how we end it on a scene of just the two brothers going on a vacation smh. No amount of talent can save a kdrama from bad writing
