Romance aside, I really want to experience this kind of healing trip.
Be in a small town close to nature, nice locals, have those slow soulful days.
Any ideas where it is safe to do this as a solo girl?

Title Dear Liar
this is not what I expected at all.
it's a frustrating show, and FL is a stupid doormat. 'ML' is an abusive trash, and definitely not in any sexy or attractive way.
if you came here for dark romance, this is not it.
it's a straight up thriller.
plus I don't see the point of the subplot betweeb the sister-in-law and her husband.
all the characters are annoying.
will just see it thru since it's almost done and just 10mins each ep.
the only thing that keeps me watching is curiosity on what the 'secret' is

Title Dear Liar
11 episodes in.
for a miniseries, this is really interesting.
The only downside is I don't see any romance, this is more thriller suspense/mystery.
I was expecting it to be like Flower of Evil, where viewers will go back and forth with 'is he or is he not bad?'.

Here, the 'ML' is straight up abusive and suspicious. I also have a thing for fictional borderline psycho/anti-heros ML, granted they are written with the right balance, where they remain in the grey zone.
Unfortunately here, the writer didn't take advantage of FZX good looks, even with that face, I feel uncomfortable and creeped out with his character. All I can think of is that FL should run.

His plot is what makes him able to become the person who helps her, no questions asked. He emphatizes with her…
I know, but I didn't like that they wrapped her issue first then suddenly focused on him. Would have worked better if it was written differently, like resolved their issues simultaneously.

The doctor's revenge arc seems to be only inserted as afterthought. It kinda felt like the story went off tangent. It was unnecessary imo, wish they just wrapped it up with them being free from revenge and at peace. Was actually expecting DongEun to just show in a brighter colored clothes (like some sort of symbolism), they hug and story wraps.
But seeing this is produced by Netflix they probably left it like that to possibly milk the story more in the future.

I also feel Season2 is much less brutal than S1, I used to get chills everytime I see the prison dungeon and the creepy lady who keeps them.
Season2 somehow feels less dark even though the cases are still heavy. They have a lot more fun antics now which I like.

I'm starting to believe new guy is not a villain, he's more likely a kid that DoKi saved years ago.
Clue on ep5, when he told the little girl that her clothes must always be clean or people will mistreat her.
This also explains why he is attached to DoKi and seems to always be in awe of him. He seems to sense there is something more that this 'taxi company' is doing but cannot exactly tell what, hence the curiousity and snooping around.
He's probably gonna be an ally and will be a key element in helping later on and will officially join the team.

I counted and seems 3 are missing :Choo SungHoon - probably too busy. Yun SungBin - they hyped him up so much…
thought so too. He's strong but I think he doesn't have stronger willpower than the others. I'm even thinking Sik might have lasted longer in that challenge had he not gave way for Sungbin.

I personally don't think it is prejudiced against women. I actually liked that they played the same games regardless…
Maybe we have a different definition of prejudice. Prejudice is when you give judgement that is not based on reason or actual things. I'm a woman too, and realistically during a team up I would want to increase my odds of winning. That means my preferred team would be the stronger male contestant, and if I can, I would also avoid the smaller and injured contestants. It doesn't mean I look down on being a woman, just means I'm making realistic decision based on known facts (that a healthy bigger male physique have an advantage in that challenge).

i wonder why some of the final 20 weren't cheering for the top five
I counted and seems 3 are missing :
Choo SungHoon - probably too busy.

Yun SungBin - they hyped him up so much and it probably would have felt like a downer just him being a background character on the final ep. OR probably just also really busy, he's kind of a celebrity too.

3rd person I couldn't recall who.

I do hope he grows on me, I didn't find Mark Chao attractive in the beginning of TMOPB too but fell in love with him later on. :)

The plot is so far nice and engaging, but I honestly do not find the ML attractive/hairstyle doesn't suit him (I know that sounds shallow lol)

I won't call it prejudice just because they were not chosen. I'm not too hung up on this being a gender topic, it's just the reality that they would want to team up with obvious stronger players. The smaller and seemingly weaker male contestants were also not the preferred options.

The goal of the show is to find the 'strongest' body regardless of age, race, gender and all other factors. Naturally, the male physique have the advantage, it is how it is. What is not fair and would be condescending is if they gave the women special treatment just because they are women. Don't get too caught up in needing to be a winner, though not considered in the show, we audience recognize these other factors (like age and gender). So although they didn't win, what they achieved is already a massive feat

There's athletic muscles, show muscles, athletes, and lean muscles Being bigger doesn't mean stronger, being a…
I personally don't think it is prejudiced against women. I actually liked that they played the same games regardless of gender, we just have to accept that there is really a physical difference between men and women. That's why in real sports there are different categories for male and female (which is getting blurry these days due to woke mentality.)
Obviously the women are at a disadvantage on this show, but we still get to see many of them shine. It would have been insulting if they watered down the games just for the women.
The girls may have lost but they kept their pride and gained massive respect.

Jo JinHyeong (car dealer) struggling and still never giving up made me tear up a bit. It really reminded me of Ma SeongDok holding the door scene in Train to Busan.

I'm going to be completely honest. I was surprised when I saw people commenting how Siwan portrays psychopath…
it might not be your idea of psychopath but he did well.
his blank expressions and vacant eyes is creepy to me.
