If u ask some, i would say there are plot holes, like type being homophobic i could understand that he became sunch way because of his childhood trauma but type constantly harassing tharn for his sexuality has exceeded its limits and also tharn feeding type medicine forcefully is again another.. Tharn giving BJ to type in bathroom forcefully is can also be considered.

I must say tharn type is not everybody's good to go. the drama is based on sex or u can say sex drives the drama it was a relationship deepened due to sexual addiction they had for each other. A very popular opinion Bl fans out there have is tharntype is so toxic, but as a person who enjoys rewatching it not so frequently would say if you need your entertainment to give you moral values then this is not the thing for you because in my opinion entertainment and moral values don't go hand in hand.
I wouldn't be lying if i say tharn was the one who gave in lot for this relationship on the contrary type who treated him as a shit is what sickens me out but as of tharn that's the thing which pulls him towards type I thought type would get progress in season 2 yes he did but it is not that satisfactory.
I also know lot of people dislike mame for engaging into such tropes we can't blame her as well because that thing had the biggest market in the beginning of the bl era and ofcourse even now they do.

I saw the movie even with poor subs it's wonderful, it was my first japnese bl it holds a big place in my heart I'm overwhelmed by the emotions. Ig there is only one Hira and kiyoi in the world they are weird but beautiful and this is the thing about japnese dramas amused me they are sometimes complex you need more brains to just understand a character or a pov, one such is Hira kazunari's as a person with no artistic views i did find the conversation between Hira and Noguchi San bit difficult to understand but little did I know they really convey some big messages to the world lol. Over all it's more than a love story between high school classmates ❤️
