Your persistent comments are the one thing that's kept this show on my radar, lol. I have hope that this show isn't as bad as people are saying it is. I'm halfway through episode 1 right now, and I'm liking it so far, although that might change.
My advice: Ignore the negative comments, this show is a light & easy watch. It's not a complex drama that deals with heavy themes, and it has every trope possible, but the cast is excellent and makes it very refreshing! It's a bit like Welcome to Waikiki in the sense that a lot of stuff doesn't make sense logically, or is highly exaggerated, but if you watch this keeping that in mind then you'll enjoy it.

I was planning to watch this, but the low rating of 7.4 is confusing me. Is it really that bad? Without spoiling too much of the show, can someone tell me what the reason for such a low rating is? If there's too much unnecessary drama then I might dislike it as well, but I'm not sure if that's the issue with this...

Agreed. That's my issue with her too. She's praised for her smile, good looks, etc., but her expressions and body language are stiff and bland. No sense of transforming into a role or playing a character. And none of her fans seem to have any counter to that other than their subjective liking! On the other hand, I can think of some actresses who may not fit the current East Asian beauty standard but have such incredible acting chops, essentially making them carry the entire show.
