Me too. I feel a personal attachment to this drama already, and that doesn't happen very often. Seeing how mature and grounded they seem to be right now, hopefully they will be able to resolve any future misunderstandings quickly and cleanly.

can we talk about how Zhi Yu is always checking up on Hu Xiu by observing her face and body language? The way he keeps looking at her to figure out her mood and whether she's okay is honestly such a cute & green flag trait of his <3

I adore everything about this drama, especially the main leads. They bicker and tease but underlying it all is a retrospective quietness...I like how they can have mature and thoughtful conversations, about dreams, failures, strengths and shortcomings. Nothing superficial about them! The soothing OST definitely enhances the mood. Watching this feels like drinking a comforting hot cocoa.

Such an addictive show!! The pilot episode instantly draws you in, and the chemistry between CXX and LYX is palpable from the start. They're doing such a good job; I really like the way both of them have calm, reserved personalities, but get all worked up when they try to outsmart the other. Their little smirks and glares have me giggling and kicking my feet!

I want to watch this, but it seems too convoluted for my taste...is it worth watching? With such a winding road to navigate, the emotional payoff at the end should be good :')

Yes, exactly! He's so emotionally mature and genuine about pursuing NXG. It's rare to see such respectful and emotionally aware MLs in dramas, who take into consideration the FL's thoughts and self esteem.

I also want to point out the contrast of Zhuang Xu not wanting to owe NXG anything because of his pride & self esteem versus LYS who is almost selfless in his giving and appreciative in his receiving. He has a big heart and wants to give NXG everything he can, but he also demands work or payment from her when necessary.

I absolutely love this dynamic of NXG being so clueless & earnest and LYS constantly having this knowing smile on his face. It's such good writing, because it creates a situation where LYS and the viewers (us) are the only ones who know the truth, and we all get to laugh at NXG's cuteness & naivety like it's an inside joke.
This couple is so sweet and wholesome, and I like how organically their bond is growing. I hope it stays this good till the end.

oh, you're right. She's never had a makeover for a role. That's crazy, because other actors (except mid Cha Eun Woo) have changed their look at least once. No wonder we can't take her seriously as an actor.

Me too! To be honest, I was never a big SWL fan, I find him okayish...but he's proven me wrong here. I'll definitely look out for his future shows now

I love the way LYS looks at NXG, there's so much amusement and affection in his eyes, especially when she's so clueless. The way he keeps teasing her is adorable too :)
