One of the characters dies in the first episode and becomes a "living corpse" and the inevitable happens. Still worth watching, it's beautiful.

I just had an epiphany on the tablecloth scene - they were making fun of this type of scene. Duh. Why does it take me so long to understand shit sometimes?

And this reminder, too. :) I'm a little creeped out by the prince, TBH. Also, not a fan of insta-attraction the way he's playing it. Buttons being pushed! I'm glad for someone thinking it through more than I did. Can't wait for today's episode.

I am a huge fan of this drama and confess to being a bit disappointed with this episode. The only thing that made me laugh was the Red Sleeve reference, perfect. The whole prince thing is VERY weird and uncomfortable. This is the same girl who slammed the "tip" back in the face of the guy from the gym and she's agreeing to get fake married? Is she doing it for Gu Won? If yes, then go on a date with him or tell him that you won't date your boss. I hope the ship rights tomorrow and we get back to the show I love. Also no to the tablecloth scene. Ugh. All that smoothing. Good lord.

I loved this scene, too. I loved being surprised like that.

The love confession, instigated by TK, of course, was the best moment. No hesitation from YD, she's there, she's ready, at last. For a split second, I thought there might be a kiss, but no. They are really making us wait for that.

I love how SJ's hair is back to "evil" styling. I suspect it will go back to crazy styling at some point in the show when the house of cards fall down around her.

I honestly could do with a little less of the noble idiocy writing. Chairman Gong thinks his wife can't take the news?? Jesus, the granny has been yelling at her for years, she's put up with shit from the whole family and she's not strong? Come on. She'll be mad, sure, but collapse? The mom is also on a bit of an over-correction course with all the kids. Settle the hell down.

And JM didn't think HW could take the sadness? Again, ridiculous. And TK not telling YD about his talk with the chairman - why? The chairman would have found some way to ask her to leave anyway, right? So no need to keep her in the dark. I get so tired of "I have to protect that person from their feelings" writing. I know it's that kind of show but I felt so aggravated with it all this weekend.

And what's the plan with the con lady and the sperm? Is she going to have sex with the uncle and save the condom?? Not sure what the big plan is there. Hate her.

I still love this show like mad. I felt bereft when I was finished with it this weekend.

I cannot wait for TK and YD to be triumphant over all these assholes and hypocrites. Cannot wait.

Fascinating. I see two angles in her - screaming and scheming. As has been mentioned many times here, the writer has it in for that character. It's just a typical "woe is me because of my childhood" villain that lots of shows write. She only wants one thing, so not that layered.

Compared to most of the other characters, she's a shell. But trauma can be interpreted as synonymous with nuance. Not in this case. It is very hard to write a convincing villain and I don't think the writer is trying that hard. She's a over-the-top character driving the leads together.

I love her wardrobe. It fits her perfectly both literally and figuratively.

I can't say how many times I laughed out loud at that show. Maybe it's time for a rewatch. Those ghosts, honestly. And I love the trope of arrogant lonely man coming to understand connection and love. And that show did it wonderfully.

Loved her in From Now on Showtime. Loved that show like crazy overall.

I don't want to watch any other show. For me the pickings are pretty slim right now (tried Agency and got about halfway through before I dropped it, tried Under the Queen's Umbrella and I am all saeguk'd outI guess, got through Crazy Love because of Kim Jae-Wook but it fell apart at the end) and all I want is TRHC.

I'm eager for See You in My 19th Life because I love both leads. Fingers crossed.

And I agree that the FL has about two brain cells.

I am completely over the "oops need to go back in the past and do something about my parents" story - I just can't.

This makes me remember the ultrasound scene in episode 9. He was so tender and caring. For me that was the moment it all started, but watching this video - hmmm, maybe earlier.

I keep thinking about YD and her reluctance about physical intimacy and the jerk of an ex. I think @bloomingtide wrote about this a while back but somehow it just clicked with me in these recent episodes. He is so fucking predatory and menacing. It makes my skin crawl to think of how he probably approached YD - with coercion and "if you loved me" sorts of statements. Maybe she wasn't ready or comfortable. Ugh.

It's great that TK is so much more respectful, even while being a bit clingy. My favorite line of the weekend was from the scene where he first wants to share the bed and says "Don't make me into a weirdo." I'm not sure why that stuck with me but it did. And YD is changing in this area, trusting more, because TK likes her just the way she is, she's so free with him. Darling.

Trying to stay away from all the comments as I go through my Saturday ritual of waiting for subs to show up. Of course there are a million things I could be doing, like around the house, for instance. But I am waiting, so eagerly.

It is a bad theory. Very bad.
