Loving this show more and more. I was relieved to see that Hye Seong had a more substantive story arc in this episode. I hope it continues.

Dong Jin in the hospital waiting room with CEO Shin- everything!

It continues to crack me up every week at how SLOW everyone walks in this show. I've had knee replacement surgery and walk faster than most of them. I know it's supposed to convey sadness and/or contemplation, but the show would be five minutes shorter every week if folks walked a bit faster.

The sister (hye seeong) is text book "daddy issues". It pains me to see how desperate she is for any man. I hope…
The older sister is VERY difficult to watch, for me. I'm old and single now, but I remember being her age where hormones or expectations or something are just driving you crazy and you'll do any stupid, painful thing to get someone's attention. I fast forward through lots of her scenes. I do have slim hopes that there might be a story arc for her that shows some growth.

The ex is the worst. I can't even with her. Least favorite trope for me in kdrama land and she's in the bottom five of all time for me.

I didn't take it this way at all, that no one she mentioned cared about Dong Jin. None of the people she mentioned have any reason to be worried about him.

I don't understand yoon joon's character. Does he like woo joo? Or her sister? Or he doesn't like anyone? Idk…
I was thinking about this. My gut says he likes her. But maybe there is another level where he's been her rock and he likes that role and he does not like her attention drifting from him. Jealous either way.

I keep thinking about the scene at the end of ep. 7 where Woo Joo is yelling at Joon - "More than I am worried about my brother who quit studying and is missing, more than I'm worried about my sister dating a much younger man, more than I am worried about you who I'm making crazy, more than I worry about my sick mother, I am worried about him. I want him to be a little less lonely. What is this feeling? What is this feeling?"

What a great scene. That fierce and feral person realizing she's in love.

The next episode looks really intense... How am I expected to wait a week 😭
It's preposterous. The waiting.

This show has me in a chokehold. Why do I have to wait a week? WHY???

I am really a fan of these 25 minute/6-8 episode Japanese BLs. Not all of them are this good, but the constriction of the timing can lead to such a satisfying level of intensity and emotional focus. These two men are tearing it up on screen. I noticed this week, in a profile shot of both of them together how open Ritsu's face is and how guarded Fumiya's is, yet he is filled with such longing.

So darn good.

Another lovely episode. I was so struck by how beautiful, in an artistic composition way, of the hugs between Jim and Gaipa - at the hospital, at the funeral. There was something in how Jim folded Gaipa into his body and how Gaipa melted into Jim's body. Can there be such a thing as a perfect hugging counterpart? If so Earth and Khaotung might be it for each other.

#1. Come on... Haven't we learnt the art of GMMTV preview misdirection yet? It's p'Aof at the helm FFS...# 2.…
I think Jim's character is compelling and human even though I don't like him that much. That's what I love about this show. I love that Jim challenges me every single week. As does Wen. I'm so grateful for a complex portrait of someone who is struggling.

You and me both! But don't you be getting any ideas now or I'll be fighting you for him 😅 joking aside, I think…
You are more than welcome to him! I'm an old lady. :) Remember that scene in Not Me where he draws the police officer? Dang it. So good.

I keep thinking about First - in this, in Not Me, in Eclipse (not my favorite show at all - lord, that plot, don't let me get started on that) - he's got all sorts of movie star vibes to me. That killer smile, how he's so at home in his body, the acting chops, his charisma. I can't think of another BL actor right now who compares.

Earth is certainly last in the pack for me of all these actors. Khaotung brought the house down in his scene today. Fourth and Gemini are adorable and so electric on screen. Mix was great in this episode. I've only watch ATOTS and he's much better here.

I am going to miss this when it's all said and done.

OkayWen is really for the streets and he's acting sloppy. He broke up with alan without a proper explanation nor…
I think Jim is something of a jerk. Not for how he is Wen I think he was pretty clear about that, but how he is with Li Ming. It gets tougher for me each episode to see how he treats his nephew. I get it that he's scared for him and scared of how the rich family might harm him, but come on. You're the grown-up. Initiate a grown-up conversation in which you LISTEN to him. Or maybe ask him a question? How about that? Has it done it maybe once?

Did you watch Not Me? He played the bad boy. Suited him well.
I loved First in Not Me. I should have mentioned that above. Did you see the BTS for MC that was on YT recently? The director called out how good First's acting is. He also smiled and said that Khaotung sort of steals each scene, even if he doesn't have many lines.

Every week makes me love this show more and more. First is amazing as Alan. I wasn't a huge fan of The Eclipse, though I liked both him and Khaotung so much in it, so I'm glad to see him in a totally different role. So many heartbreaking scenes in this episode. Wow.

But you know which character is the least likable to me? Jim. His interactions with Li Ming are so reactionary. His constant refusal to listen to him is so hard to watch. And then there is him giving and giving to his customers but being closed off to all those closest to him. I am curious to see how he changes, if he does, in the next three episodes.

I love this show. I'm a sucker for end of the world stories and I think both leads are doing a great job. I was not prepared for episode four's storyline about Masumi's mother. Good job Ritsu for helping out there. Very good job.

And the song that plays as the show ends - found it on Spotify and it's part of a very interesting album. Is it OK to post links? Let me know if not -- https://open.spotify.com/album/5s0belplxdkwtyTQkBoR4t?si=pbOWbN2QSfi4a21Vu27wIw

That's the thing that I just cannot grasp. It would be a different story if they lived together and both had some…
I agree - Wen needs to be responsible for his actions. I hope he gets an earful from Jim or somebody and takes some sort of step towards owning up.
