Weird…those 2 & Eternal Love were some of my first too with C-dramas, they started me watching Costume dramas lol

Yes watch one after the other every time lol they are my go to 🤗
I haven’t finish this drama but if you are looking for something similar & you haven’t seen it then try Princess Agents.
Same actress in Ming Lan which is why it popped in my head..but can’t remember everything exactly since it’s been years but I just know it was a really good watch & she was similar to this FL.
Oh and I ment the Recommendation page on the drama page itself..at least the ones you like….it’s where I find a lot of my dramas lol

I’m scanning the comments and I don’t think anyone has mentioned The Story of Ming Lan.
Like you I’m a big fan of smart FL but across C-dramas & K-dramas this would be my favourite.
Start is a bit slow but you will absolutely not regret it once you progress further into the drama. She’s scheming and on point with her perceptions & top that is the fact that ML is equally just as smart.
Also if you click Recommendations on it’s page you’ll find that most dramas suggested there are all pretty good.

Right lol wondered that too….2 yrs of living together and nothing but drunken kisses.
Of course it’s not overly important when it comes to love but come-on writers….be a little realistic.
Thought maybe they’re waiting for her to be the legal wife too but they got together right before that happened so it really didn’t make sense that they loved & accepted each other for so long, eat & live together yet never made it past kissing all those years 🤦🏻‍♀️

Didn’t particularly love it but that steamy scene was enough to pump my rating lol

Ummm hmmmm good start…but skipped a lot from halfway, predictable on the boring side.
But I will admit that ML was worth the watch.
1st time seeing him but he was charismatic…. I’m not entirely complimenting on looks cause he’s acting was on point and I wouldn’t mind seeing him in future dramas.

Surprised this is rated so low.....but i can see that it's a lot for the average audience to get through.
You're not gonna like this if you're here for any fluff, straight theories or if you don't enjoy following a complicated plot.
It's not the greatest thriller I've ever seen but it was surprisingly a good puzzle to get through and well worth the watch especially with it's high production quality .
The pace of it wasn't even slow since every ep unravel a new plot direction.
I read some comments that it gets slow and i kept waiting for it but it never did, maybe some boring parts, yes... but never slow.
Acting, scenery, plot and even the ending were all above average...great.
It's honestly upsetting seeing good production rated low because people couldn't follow a plot, hate an ending or they disliked a lead-lead's intentions.
I hope thriller lovers don't get deter by it's ratings and give it a shot.

PS..I've seen Lee Sang Y in many other dramas but why does he looks so delish in this? lol

Rewatched this and I’m really appreciating the effort from the production team….every scene is well thought out and you can see that they spare no expense to be worthy of its plot 👌🏼
Eg..ML’s family is written rich and powerful and here unlike similar characters we really got to see a big busy company building, large beautiful homes plus vehicles and well tailored suits for the Main.
The most impressive is the wedding scene in the end….I love that it’s big & well decorated for a Chairman’s son’s wedding, not to mention full of many other people and not just the cast like most drama weddings.

When I first watched this I gave it an 8 but after today I gave it a 9.5
Also the ML’s dad scenes are still hilarious…his face when ML thanked his mother for his good looks still cracked me up 😆
Not my fav genre but this drama after re-watching really is a gem for the romantics out there.

Went to check it out and now can’t stop giggling to myself.
It’s adorable….reminds me of my grandma when she’s upset with everybody and she rants out loud to herself while cooking and banging everything in the kitchen lmao

Like she said to the policeman on ep 15…she opened her mouth but she didn’t drive the car.
Meaning everyone who committed a crime during her revenge had a choice to make, and they themselves chose to do bad instead of what’s right.

She even gave Yeon Jin a choice to ask for forgiveness & confes or loose everything…that choice was given to her at the start of the revenge and again halfway by her husband who begged her to seek forgiveness from the victim’s families & he’ll stand by her.

Waiting for karma and forgiveness isn’t gonna work on the lot…good people can also prosecute revenge as long as they don’t cross the fine line of life & death or harm the innocents directly.
Here, FL clearly let them know her intensions for revenge from the beginning, gave them choices and never hid her agendas.
She’s still a good white egg 💁🏻‍♀️

Splendid…we sure can enjoy a win all drama 👌🏼 reminds me of Nirvana in Fire where the good guy unfolds their revenge without so much as a setback.
Bad guys never stood a chance.
Kept thinking FL gonna slip up on something but that really never came by…at least not badly as most dramas would.
Excellent writing for cheering and the audience clearly enjoyed such dramas…hope for more like it!!
Smart FL is also a must…did all that without dirtying her hands is one clever character to write up.

Enjoyed this...heck i'll still wait excitedly for another season....but i really hope they don't make the team members look so useless... whole show was highlighting a one man team and the members struggles to help him.
Season 1 was mainly amazing cause although they were after 1 main strong enemy there were multiple enemies with their mini stories shown that got the viewers just as invested for their takedowns... and some weren't possessed by evil spirit.
The team fought them 1 by one, ep by ep and mostly won nearly every battle till the last one in that last ep.
All members were useful in their own categories!

This season's victory was by luck...ML was strong as usual but he wouldn't have won against such an opponent if Mr Ma hadn't held back during their fights.
If they didn't have a connection beforehand then the evil spirit would have killed them all without sweating.
Also kept waiting for the new counter to possessed another new skill cause i really didn't think they were gonna write him so useless with only a nose as his weapon...he doesn't even fight and the jokes involving his inability just fell flat as a viewer.
If there is another new season..ML needs a new ability that is useful or even one the same as his team.
Yung people said Mr Ma was like ML except he's evil, why then Mr Ma had all good and bad abilities but ML couldn't see through memories, see through or communicate through his own territories that he summons or self heal?
There is so much potential for the ML to grow but that didn't really happen in this season...hope for another season to see it.

I liked the 1st version but this one is better!! OST is so much better and cast was great!!
The only time travel drama that makes sense....i mean if the past never happened then everything in the future would disappeared inc the person and their location.
This Korean version also explains the ML journey in details which can be confusing to first time viewers but since I've already seen the original this version became a breeze to watch and enjoy!

Right! I hate the spellbound theme....how anyone gets excited over forcing someone to fall in love with them is overall pathetic.

North Korea aren’t just gonna let Radom trained citizens leave the country….they bred, trained, shoved loyalty so far into them and elevated them & family in their country that any thought of defecting from a mission is non-existent.
Advance society isn’t even an interest in their minds….dying with honour for their country is their way of life.
They live and breathe it.

Frank has same power as Jang Joo Won..Every agent has fought around him, knows his history and seen his capabilities.
Calling Frank 2nd-string is them judging his fighting skills & saying that he’s 2nd best to someone else with same power.
And that he wont be able to beat 1st-string.

I hate that I found this drama by accident on a random fan post 🤦🏻‍♀️
I’m constantly scanning for new dramas and the fact that this one isn’t well advertised on online platforms is a total waste.
This isn’t my genre yet got me hooked from ep1.
One word to describe everything from writing, plot, cinematography to acting…..
