after watching jin man she got scared, so jin man would easily killed her.
Yeah not a badass…more crazy. Which would suit a reckless but smart team leader but not a superior in her position. And how is that everyone still look the same after 16 years since recruiting Jinman in that hotel hostage situation in the beginning…and she was already a leader then- meaning should already worked years to get there. Shouldn’t she be like old and grey by now? Lol
I would rather So Minhye 😌 even though that’s clearing just a crush turned extreme loyalty on her side. But the thought of Q & little niece in family gatherings would be too scary & stressful for Jinman 😆😆
what the fuckkkkat least tell us how ml was able to survive the poison !!!!
I assumed cause he asked his doctor friend to use his hidden last method…got denied because it was dangerous but prince insisted cause he wanted to “spend as much days as he can with his wife and unborn child” That episode was just before the coup at the palace then he passed away.
I was suspicious cause they put effort to show that scene but never showed the method applied then all of sudden the prince died….the way the production moved on from his death & FL’s lack of sad emotion was more missing him instead of broken distraught also made me guess he wasn’t really gone just gone into hiding to heal.
The first time I saw 5th Prince in armour patrolling with his men in the palace I thought he was Gao Wei Guang 😆 I was so confuse cause the king’s brother was supposed to be dead. Every other scene I don’t see it but when he does his army hair back they definitely pass as related.. If he had played the crown prince it would have made perfect sense too.
P.s I hesitated watching this cause I never enjoyed any of the FL’s dramas I’ve seen before…and I think it put a bit of a damper on this one too if it wasn’t for the fact both leads are highly intelligent characters.
Can someone please tell me is this Gu Qing shu will have a lot of screentime/ scenes. I'm only in ep 9 and I'm…
Not really….overall she doesn’t appear a lot but when she does in those few episodes her role usually takes much of that episode. She has the instigator character but insignificant considering the story would have roll on the same without her…like nothing she did brought any great damage to the FL, so don’t worry abt her. Although it was both annoying and entertaining watching the FL treat her as an ant instead of a threat but her role did clarified who the poisoner was to the FL in the end.
It is a good action drama, and the hero always wins every fight, no matter how many opponents he has to face. But…
But middle age men who wears glasses is literally their thing!!? In the start they were somewhat bored with retirement & out of action, repetitive routine, getting old with not much to do ….that last scene is them accepting life & happy being seeing as boring middle age men wearing glasses. 🤓
I don’t think people understand how hard it is to find a great comedy outlay inside a serious plot line. It’s very rare to successfully merge both and this drama effortlessly does it continuously from start to end. Started this for the revenge action & stayed for the fun.
Rewatching this a 3rd time & honestly Ryu Dong Ryong is such an underrated character. He honestly should have pursued being a therapist or teacher like his dad 🤭 the guy seriously gave everyone around him the best advices throughout the drama.
whatever happened in last ep bro? did the og dam sin with whom modern ml fell in love w both went back? then with…
In the last ep the clip of damshim & Prince alive and on the run in the past after their fall was just a “hopeful” imaginative story the ML made-up to make the FL happy cause she was still sad of that ending. No one really knows what happened cause she came back to the present & the royal family keeps him out their history. But in the actual event it’s believed that both didn’t survive.
Seori’s story is originally from the future. She first “soul transmitted” to the past when she was 12 after her parents tried to do a family murder suicide. She is the OG…she is both the past and present Kang & Seori who lived in the palace & also grew up with her grandma. Like a reincarnation where she required both memories although she only realised this later in the drama when she remembered growing up with grandma even though she only remembered her past life. The shaman made it happened where her soul’s memories traveled to another recarnation of herself making it looked like time travel.
Exactly!! I’m here to re-watch but I still shake my head that I never see any hype abt this drama when it’s so good. I recommend it as much as possible since that’s how I stumbled on this the first time…only through someone’s recommendation.
I don't understand why deng yi is fighting...he is already in highest rank ...chu zhao also promised to give him…
The previous emperor obviously told Chi Zhao he already wrote out that edict naming Xiao Xun as successor..not sure why Chi Zhao hasn’t thought to destroy it. It’s too late now if she remembers it…too many officials are against her & if they catch wind of another edict it will turn the court against her so she will never bring it up directly or openly. Deng Yi clearly doesn’t care about who sits on the throne…he just wants power but not by being a puppet for someone else and at the moment he is co-Regent with the princess which even though he isn’t fully in control because of her it’s still a step or in his case 2 steps below being emperor. He would never want to loose it cause out of the 2 successor options the young emperor is easier to deal with.. but just in case he falls he will use the edict to pave another path to power. He knows the princess doesn’t trust him & she knows his weakness (his mother). Yangfan is also a strong opponent that can destroy him for his own gain given the chance, so to Deng Yi the original edict is his best chance for perseverance. But that edict only works if the person named (Xiao Xun) is kept alive. He mainly help Xiao Xun escape for this reason…not to be on his side…but to keep his way out open.
Did you finish it? She had everyone's support on her side…(as she should if she was truthful) because of that…
Girl… devoting time talking abt it? It’s rarely talked abt. It should be talked about more. The ep is not just about cases with teachers…. It’s a bigger issue than that which is cyber bullying with False Accusations to destroy someone. It’s literally everywhere. People use SA as ammo in many cases for cyber bullying. Being falsely accused should be a crime. It pisses me off when people make light of it. Kim Soo-Hyundai case might not be directly from supposed victim but her family pushed the false SA allegations of a minor & he was cyberbullied a lot for it. Lucky he held out cause many would have caved with their lives. You nitpicked at one point of the episode & disregared the rest cause that one episode packed in online addiction, cyber bullying, SA & false accusations plus many more. Like others mentioned. You should just quit..especially if your views are being triggered by your tunnel vision while arguing with stats that are not true.
Did you finish it? She had everyone's support on her side…(as she should if she was truthful) because of that…
When I said everyone I ment the public she came out to online. What do you mean it never happens? There was literally a case not long ago there where a teacher was assaulted by a student & to avoid any repercussions the parent went on and accused the attack on the teacher because of SA. Which proved to be false. Another a few years back where a teacher committed suicide because he was accused of SA a student…investigation found no evidence and he was free to go but because of stigma the school fired him anyways to avoid negative views.
Look I get where you are going with this..I too have been through it but not to a bad extend like most victims…I just avoid it all. It’s not even because I don’t have people to go to..I had plenty of love ones. I honestly don’t know why but speaking out about it at the time seemed like something I just couldn’t do. I was dealing with unwanted attention & I just didn’t want more or to blow it up. Years later 2 others of our group mentioned it happened to them too with the same person and yet we still kept to ourselves because the person involved is someone seen as quiet, kind and a loving father to amazing boys we also knew & grew up with. I just forget abt it even though I know it changed how I see things as i grew. I saw the ep and thought I hope she gets severely punished for lying about something many are traumatised over. People like that makes it hard for victims so I was mainly happy that she was punished for it. And yes it does happens … to state something doesn’t happen is something that you should research before preaching.
episode 3 completely negates whatever message they were trying to push with the rest of the show. sk gives absolutely…
Did you finish it? She had everyone's support on her side…(as she should if she was truthful) because of that it caused the death of her victim. The team did their investigation all under wraps in school as school teachers. They posted only one video in the end on her account and that was clearly evidence from her own device which eventually helped prosecuted her. Getting the evidence out any other way would be a lot harder. You realised that in their culture even when the victim is gone the blame stigma continues on to their family members unless their name is clear.
SA victims should see this & know that public will back them in waves …the fault here is not the act of being brave coming out (that is rewarded with support as seen here) but the act of deceiving with lies… which happens more than you think.
If you continue further in the show you’ll see the real side of a victim in a similar case. The show will show the side of them wanting to speak out but fear of retaliations stops them.
Which would suit a reckless but smart team leader but not a superior in her position.

I’ve seen your other comments….
Just remember- it’s just a character.
In the start they were somewhat bored with retirement & out of action, repetitive routine, getting old with not much to do ….that last scene is them accepting life & happy being seeing as boring middle age men wearing glasses.
