I actually never said I donāt like himā¦.I like slice of Life dramas which this drama is, romance is a bonus if itās good but thatās not why I picked up most dramasā¦after many years of watching K-dramas & C-dramas you just know not many are without romance in comparison to those with it, so you just watch what you feel would be a decent plot. Would enjoyed this without the romance but since the plot is written with it, I of course would have some expectationsā¦here feels more like best friends who are soul mates, we see thereās lots of love, care and support but absolutely NO chemistry. Nothing wrong with that but Note the difference.

YSW being shy and diffident is okay, heās acting is top notch enough to trick the majority but itās not thereā¦his eyes & stances donāt show it. Simple. And Iāve watched enough of his dramas to read the same in his approach towards romanceā¦.its no-longer a written approach, itās simply his way. He has more chemistry playing the love sick 2nd ML than direct acting as the 1st ML.

The competition & his comeback made it a good watch. I donāt mind romanceā¦not my fav genre but I can enjoy a mature one without the detailsā¦.ML did it fine by 2nd half & so-so for FL. Still think rating 8.7 is a bit exaggerated but it definitely deserved above 8. I suggest give it another try when you have nothing else to watch or like me needing a break from watching back to back thrillers.
