Choi Hee Jin's Role: Choi Hee Jin plays Yun Nan U, who is Ji Gang Hui's mother. This does not make sense google. "Who play's Ji Gang Hui's mother?"

most likely, he'll take a concubine. He might even experience the trill of falling in love with or lust. Unfortunately the queen looks tired with all of it. Life itself. Her giving up might be her demise sadly.

Oh, and in episode 4, the crown prince’s unhappiness could stem from a similar place—trapped by duty and longing for connection or a purpose beyond fulfilling royal expectations. Both characters are victims of a system that values tradition and fear over individual fulfillment.

I've seen explicit historicals before, but only in movie form. This drama series is exciting to watch. The thrill, the suspense, the chase, the wit, and the passion are all compelling. It feels refreshing because it's bold and strikingly realistic.

Her inability to visit her pregnant friend highlights the kingdom’s rigid rules and superstitions surrounding women and childbirth. These restrictions may stem from fear—of bad omens or the perceived vulnerability of pregnant women—but they isolate the queen further. The tragic loss of her friend and the child underscores the harsh realities women faced, with little control over their own lives.

The queen’s failure to bear children may also amplify her isolation. In many historical settings, a queen’s worth was often tied to her ability to produce heirs, which would further strain the already fragile bond between her and the crown prince. This would create an undercurrent of sadness and resentment, making their shared life one of quiet suffering.

The queen and crown prince’s relationship, forged not by love but by royal decree, represents the sacrifice of personal happiness for duty. Announced as his partner from a young age, she was bound to a future she didn’t choose. Their shared history lacks the thrill of discovery or the excitement of falling in love, replaced by the weight of expectation.

The queen’s longing for a fleeting, youthful past reflects a desire for the freedom they never experienced. Her mention of “once sixteen and fleeting” is a wistful acknowledgment of a time when life held the promise of joy and spontaneity—now stifled by protocol.

The VIP hospital suite. I'm pretty sure those don't exist in real life (UPDATE: I know nicer, more private suites…
I have been in a few in Georgia and they are a hotel suite like with full style kitchen and living room like guest seating but the library. They over did it in this show.
who dusting that daily in a health ward, 🤣

Title When the Phone Rings Spoiler
What an intense 7 weeks. For me, it was like watching Vincencio all over again. My anxiety was on high. However, I was disappointed in the script's ending. It suddenly went from intense to rushed, let's end this. 👀 어머
I did laugh a lot at the end with all the antics such as: Not someone pulling the sheets while they were in bed. They end up in the Forest at night, but at the Beachside by morning, They run to hide in the forest while she screams at him at the top of her lungs, Like sound doesn't travel. And many more.
In all it was good and It was refreshing to see Yoo Yeon Seok play the ML with such verve

That could not be AmericaK cops at the beginning of episode 12. The suspect would not have lived. He would have had 30 rounds once that gun went off despite race.
